Well at least SEattle and SF lost

I guess that helps a little bit. I feel a little better now. Only 2 games in all of the predicted playoff teams are showing they aren't invincible.
Maybe we can turn it around yet!

And the team that was suppose to be the worst of our division with no receivers is 2-0.

We take care of business with two cellar dwellers from last year by NOT FREAKING CHOKING AND BLOWING 4TH QUARTER LEADS and we are at the top of the NFC heap with the world champs chasing us.

Coulda woulda freaking shoulda.

I want to hear about Seattle's road woes all year.

Really?

with out issues we shouldn't worry about what other teams are doing right now until we win a game.

Yes, until we can reel off about 6 wins in a row - starting Sunday - scoreboard watching doesn't prove much.

Just suffice it to say that we are currently tied for the worst record in the NFL and need to play some 1/2 arse football for a change and win some games...

I mean we really aren't in bad shape, especially if Philly loses tonight. Strange as it is, being 0-2 we could not have chose a better year.

They have a defense.

We all know this is not how the whole season will go for any of these teams. Ups and downs. We gave up the lead late in teh 4th quarter twice and it cost us two games. We need to close the next one out.

This is the most worrisome aspect for me. Nobody in the NFC looks invisible, but Carolina going up to Detroit and winning was totally unexpected.

Detroit came to Carolina. Turnovers cost Detroit the game. Give credit to Carolina D for creating them but it was the turnovers and the dropped TD pass in the EZ that cost Detroit. Score points and go up on Carolina as they don't have the explosive offense to come back and win.

Screw Carolina. It's game 2, they will fall.

Not worried. We got issues but we're not an awful team. Before Payton, most seasons I knew we would not beat certain teams. It was not going to happen. Not anymore. We could go on a run and win 8 in a row.

Yeah, Carolina will fall, just like they did last year, in the division race. They battled with the Saints for home field and the division, in Carolina, and the Saints had a big defensive stand from Ryan's defense with 23 seconds left and won the...oh never mind.

Defense gave up 17 points, less than 230 yards and held Carolina to 0-9 on third downs. Defense played great offense lost the game that day.
