Hard to defend the indefensible!

METAIRIE, La. (AP) -- New Orleans safety Kenny Vaccaro shows no interest in defending the Saints' performances in their first two games by pointing out how close they came to winning.

That fact that New Orleans led both games in the final 10 seconds of regulation, and lost each by a field goal or less, is of little solace.

Payton said he and his staff are working this week to address an apparent lack of situational awareness that led to avoidable breakdowns on offense, defense and special teams.

That is part of it but by no means all of it.

Patrick Robinson either has to cover Greg Jennings or cordarelle Patterson next week, nightmares already, I hope Corey starts and we go 3 safety set every play

If he does cover one of them, I hope they let him line up at the line of scrimmage and bump them off their routes rather than line up 10-15 yards downfield.
