Truth be told, as bad as the Saints defense has been in the first two weeks, they can only hope the Vikings change their stance and elect to once again sit their All-Pro running back. In Week 1 he was a powerful beast who was able to stop on a dime against a solid St. Louis Rams defense.

The Vikings’ offense is not necessarily solely a one-man show though. Second-year receiver Cordarelle Patterson has quickly become one of the league’s most dangerous weapons, who can beat a defense catching the ball or taking it from Matt Cassel on a handoff or toss.

Something better give with our D and I'm not talking about points or yards being given up, enough of that crap!! I want sound fundemental football played by the D.

It has got to click at some point. There is really no way they can go but up. I'll be happy if I just see a few real tackles and DBs not playing 20 yds out from the receivers.

The Vikings had good receivers, I'm not trying to be a downer but after what I've seen through 2 weeks I don't think we easily beat them, if we win at all

The vikings have the worst offense in the NFL... seriously they are the worst. If our D makes them look even avg then I don't see much improvement week to week.

I am usually a pessimist (although I claim to be a realist), but even I think this is a bit silly.

Vikings offense is awful, and they won't have Peterson. This is the perfect match-up for us to get some confidence.

They're actually 24th with 20.5 PPG.
St Louis is the worst at 12.5 PPG.
