this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Three weeks in and only 3 undefeated teams left, and none of them look like world beaters to me. I think the Dolphins pop open the bubbly early this year. Hopefully we can build on today's win and start playing ...

Strange season forming

Hopefully we can build on today's win and start playing football and get right back in the thick of things. Just can't afford many - if any - more NFC losses. |

Re: Strange season forming
Yeah if anyone told me before the season that the Cardinals, Eagles and Bengals would be the only unbeaten teams after 3 weeks I would not have believed them.

Even if our pass rush isn't playing great, I've still not seen Byrd make a play, jump a route etc Our pass rush in 2009 was weak, Sharper still managed to jump routes and make plays, grabbing 10 picks Until he proves me otherwise, I think we massively overpaid for him, and the bills knew it |

Re: Strange season forming
I don't know why people have been so dismissive of the Bengals. Everyone seemed to have that game marked of as an automatic win. I have them picked as a dark horse super bowl contender. While nobody was paying attention they put up some damn good numbers on offense last year and their defense is nothing to sneeze at either. They will destroy this defense if they don't improve.

Maybe the Bengals. They're another under the radar team

Re: Strange season forming
After 3 games we have 1 forced turnover.
That's tied for 2nd worst in the entire league. Thats also pathetic, and on pace for worst in NFL history. |

Last year we were just playing fundamentally sound football and we still had more turnovers through 3 weeks than we do now |
