Brees' suplex

Anyone else notice that nobody on the offensive line got fired up about it until Brees did? It's their job to protect the Qb and they should get pissed when a player suplexes their Qb. What's this say about our line.

see i am all for the OL "Turley-n-out" on anyone that cheap shoots a QB.

The guy earned my dying respect when he ripped that helmet of the player for cheap shooting Brooks after he was down. I only wish the helmet was not empty. that helmet deserved a head in it.

I use that in my team speaks each and year

Their is a right way and a wrong way to "Turley-n-out" to protect and stick up for a team mate.

surprised to see so many kids actual know Kyle still :)

This says our line is disciplined, no need to react stupidly and get penalties or ejections like in the Eagles game when the refs are going to throw a flag in your favor...

Oh whatever, they probably didn't see what happened, they all have their backs turned trying to block. When Brees got up mad, they all got in there and starting shoving guys around to protect their QB. That's what matters.

and this

Of the problems we have had this year, o-line is like second to last. Why complain about them?

Didn't think of that but I just don't see the fire.

If they would have reacted and we had offsetting penalties and then had to punt, you'd be *****ing we lost...

I'll take wins over some perceived fire you think you didn't see, when in reality as a fan you have no idea what was going on at the time...

I dunno, I'd have to watch it again. I honestly think it was kind of a bang-bang play. I think most of the linemen were fallen down by then, or were wrapped up in whatever was going on, or were tangled up, and they didn't see what was happening behind them. I mean I saw the suplex -- I practically screamed -- but even *I* didn't really FIGURE OUT what was happening, until the same time that Drew was already up and running around. They definitely got in there and had his back, once it was clear something was up.

THe one piece that's missing for me, is did the other Minnesota guy (the non-Captain Munnerlin guy) say something to Brees, some smack talk, as he was on top of him, in the pile, and is THAT why Brees went after him instead of Munnerlin. Or was Brees just going for the first purple shirt he saw and had the wrong guy!

Drew said in his press conference that he thought it was the other guy and not Munnerlyn that slammed him, said it was a mistake in the heat of battle...

They did react. Starting with Brees.

Sometimes I think you argue just to hear yourself talk.

They didn't react in the way that you are complaining about and I wouldn't have to argue if you wouldn't make ridiculous *****ing threads
