Well its a bet against the spread, and the Saints are favored by 3, so its simply a computer taking the 3 points with a 53% chance of winning.

Saints win by 2 and the computer is right, Dallas wins

Yeah, the season wouldn't be over. Last year Carolina was 1-3 and won the division and the #2 seed.
