What is the deal with Lorig?

I don't think Payton has ever indulged that information

So with the exception of Goodwin, we're not hurting at any position group going into this game.

And I'd argue that it was simply a matter of time before Lelito caught up and surpassed Goodwin anyway.

The pass blocking was better after Lelito came in.

Actually Lelito graded out as good at run blocking too, and ended up with the 3rd best grade on offense at +1.3. Goodwin finished at -0.3

Never had Lorig or Ball.
Hawthorne, meh.
Josh Hill stepped up
So did Robinson and Pierre Thomas

So basically full health going into Dallas

"May" because I have no idea what kind or severity of Watson's injury

Ya think maybe Goodwin might end up losing his job?

Yes, I think that is a distinct possibility.

I still wish Ingram wasn't hurt, he was on a roll.

Wasn't trying to be a *****. Just happy to see a guy like Josh Hill get the action he's worked for. He's longer term than Watson anyway

All of our very best players are healthy. That's a good thing.

To be frank I'm not sure I understand why we are keeping a roster spot for Erik Lorig. Why didn't we put him on IR/designation to return?

Because they gave that privilege to Fortt!

Or the PUP list.

I thought you had to disclose the injury if a player is listed on the report, leg, arm ect...

Problem is Johnson is gaining cohesion with the o-line and RBs. If Lorig comes in he is bound to need time to catch-up, so why bother with Lorig at all if Johnson has been doing so well...

Injury report says inactive (ankle).

You've got to realize Lorig was destined to be Payton's new wrinkle.

Aside from his blocking skills he's 6'4", 250lbs. He can line up at TE, FB, probably even slot receiver, who knows.

Johnson is a Fullback. And turning out to be a pretty reliable one at that!
