Brings a tear to the eye, to see where Steve was and to think where he is now...

True, but ALS has made him a legend in his own life and he has been given the opportunity to touch more lives and be more relevant in his illness than if he did not have ALS.

He has the balls to take the remaining life he has and do something with it, unlike most of us (myself in included) if we were in the same situation.

But you're right Mitch, sad to see, but glad he made lemonade out of lemons.

One of a handful of sports moments I'll remember as long as I live. I was cheering with tears in my eyes that night.

Always remember where I was. Sitting outside on my best friend's patio in front of his TV. 12-15 people there and we all jumped to our feet at once.

Nobody ever remembers poor Curtis Deloatch but he was ALL OVER THAT BALL. It's almost like he knew without a doubt the punt was going to be blocked. he also had a pretty solid hammer dunk on the goalpost.

That's one of those "I remember where I was when..." moments in life (for Saints fans, anyway).

I was in a hotel suite in Bentonville AR with a job interview the next morning with a HUGE retailer.

One of the best 12 hour periods in my life! I watched that incredible game and followed it up by NOT getting a job offer that I would have felt I needed to take being out of work (instead a MUCH better one a couple of weeks later).
