What's up with the Dez hate? He's pretty normal acting in his interviews. All he does to make people hate him is yell a lot, and it's good yelling.

"Alleged" physical altercation with his mom. But I suppose that a grown millionaire with that kind of physique has every right to push around any woman they choose. Should I really go into that? There should never be even an accusation about hitting your mom...unless you're 2 or 3 years old.

I am happy to see, though, that he has outgrown his Cowboys-mandated babysitting service...that's a step towards adulthood, right?

That was a long time ago, he's gone through therapy and classes and whatnot and has put that behind him. The kid lived with eight different families when he was a teenager. Let's say he didn't have the best upbringing.

But now he's a professional, and he's doing the best he can. He's put the past behind him.

And please, no one start the "attention seeking" thing. What is wrong with being an emotional player? Irvin was (everyone hates him too, though). Remember when Dez was yelling on the sidelines last year vs the Lions when we blew a 10 point lead to lose the game and the media got on to him? Here's what he said -

"No! We can’t let them do that! These [expletive] [unclear.] They’re manning me the [expletive] up. We destroy that!

Man, we good on that, Tony. We the best in the NFL on that. We the best in the NFL. And I could…I’m telling you, if you look at it on film…man, if you look at it on film, [unclear] I swear to God out there, [unclear, PA announcer speaking] on the zero, I’m cutting. [Unclear] [expletive] [unclear.]

We [expletive] good, man. We bust our ass not to win this [expletive] game."

Dez Bryant has the exact attitude I want every player on the team to have.
