Saints Road Woes Continue with 38-17 loss to Cowboys
1 Attachment(s)
The Saints were 3-5 last season on the road, and unfortunately for the black and gold nothing has changed in 2014 when they leave New Orleans.
The Cowboys 38-17 win puts the Saints road record at 0-3 this season. Tony Romo finished 22-of-29 passing for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Drew Brees went 32-of-44 passing for 341 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Romo was flawless on the Cowboys first drive of the game. He went 7-for-7 passing for 66 yards, finishing with a connection to Terrance Williams for a six-yard score. The drive lasted more than seven minutes. A Brees interception in the second quarter led to the Cowboys second touchdown of the game. It took only two plays to make Brees pay for his mistake. DeMarco Murray's 15-yard touchdown run put the Cowboys up 17-0. Right before half, Dallas struck again. A quick drive that lasted a little over two minutes netted the Cowboys a touchdown thanks to Romo connecting with Williams again. Williams 23-yard score capped a nine-play, 77-yard sequence. The Cowboys led 24-0 at the half. The Saints registered only a 114 yards compared to the Cowboys 290. The second half was just as fruitful for the Cowboys offense. READ THE REST AT FOX8LIVE.COM |

Awful, just awful. Somebody tell me again why we cut champ Bailey to keep Dixon?

When is Cam & Junior gonna show up? Can Kenny V start making consistent tackles? We have LB's who are lost in space & Byrd is not ball hawking the way we all anticipated. Although Dixon gave up a TD, the coverage wasn't exactly awful (needs to look for the ball). He will get better with more reps. Sometimes I wonder why we kept Toon, Morgan and Cadet on the 53 roster. |

We are about to witness the fall of Rome my friends. HAHA NO way in hell the way this team is playing we will win at home, not just on the road.

The few (very few) times we got pressure Romo folded. Brees seemed like he was under pressure the whole game.
We all knew the worse of the two defenses in this game would lose. And Dallas took it to us in every aspect. |

Armstead injury hurt us bad. Harris was backpedaling in Drew's lap all game long. Guards also had an awful game.

Didn't see the game as it was 1am over here. How bads Armstead injury, is he likely to miss time or with the bye will he play vs Buccs?
