PFF: Week 4 Grades
PFF Week 4 Grades
Well, about what we thought, but a few surprises. Keep in mind grades between -1 and 1 are considered average. (outside of +/- 3 is terrible) DEFENSE Played well Bush 1.4 Haralson 1.1 Played Badly Humber -5.0 Lofton -4.6 Jordan -4.5 Vaccaro -4.1 Galette -3.9 Byrd -2.2 Deaderick -1.7 Foster -1.3 OFFENSE Played well Robinson 2.0 Brees 1.7 Played Badly Goodwin -4.4 Harris -3.6 Graham -2.9 Cooks -1.5 Cadet -1.1 Everyone else graded about average (neither good nor bad) |
Re: PFF: Week 4 Grades
Galette, KVac, and Goodwin aren't surprises. B Harris is.
And I'm bettin' Jordan's, Humber's, and Lofton's very low grades has to do with Bunkley and Deaderick getting abused by the Boys' interior line. Can't believe BB didn't grade out worse than average. |
Re: PFF: Week 4 Grades
Better than I expected...
On a related note: the Cowboys have built an O-Line like they had in the Aikman years... |

I wouldn't go that far. That O-line group was about the equivalent of our Dome Patrol Linebacker group. But yeah, Dallas is doing it right recently. |
Re: PFF: Week 4 Grades
Combine the beat down last year with the return of key players and Dallas had more motivation and drive to win.
The fact remains, we were in the game until we have it away (missed FG, INT in own red zone). |

But that was a bad play. It was poorly designed, poorly executed and called when everyone and their grandmother was expecting it. The only real surprise was just how bad it was. |
Re: PFF: Week 4 Grades
DEFENSE
Played well Nobody Played Badly Everybody OFFENSE Played well Robinson 2.0 Played Badly Everybody Else Overall we get a rating "poo", and every player found (should have found) a pile of this in his locker: http://inanities.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/poo.jpg |
Re: PFF: Week 4 Grades

The coaching staff needs to bring passion back to the team. Remember the 2010 defense? Almost no real talent there aside from Vilma and Smith, but they were dogs and attacked everything they saw for a number 4 ranking in the league. In 2013 our defense had something to prove (because of 2012) and they came out like wild animals destroying the competition, remember the bills game, I almost felt bad for Thad Lewis. Point is this team doesn't lack talent they lack passion and heart to be great. |
