What's happened to Colston?
Man, he just doesn't look right out there at all.
He is dropping so many passes its unbelievable. He had the chance to win it for us in regulation, which I believe he is very lucky the bucs didn't challenge because it looked like another catch fumble to me, colston had full possession of it. He dropped a TD catch he normally makes, he doesn't look right out there. He is nearly dropping as many passes as devery used to. |
Re: What's happened to Colston?
Age maybe catching up to him...
|
Re: What's happened to Colston?
Age usually doesn't affect the hands and the ability to catch for recievers. I wonder if he has an injury or something else bothering him.

Re: What's happened to Colston?
The play in regulation would have been a booth review, Tampa couldn`t have challenged the play.. I go to agree that it looked like a fumble all over again. Bye week hopefully works wonders for him!

Re: What's happened to Colston?
Maybe he's tired of getting lit up over the middle. That seems to be the only route he's targeted on

Re: What's happened to Colston?
It appears his time is almost up in the Saints. Lost the speed a couple seasons ago, now losing the hands. Almost certain this is his last year with the Saints, hopefully he catches fire after the bye week and goes out with a bang!

Its just weird how consistent he normally is and now he can barely catch the ball, and when he does the defenders are making him fumble it was too easy He's a veteran, these mistakes shouldn't happen I was more comfortable watching Ben Watson out there catching passes, knowing he may not be a game breaker but he will not make mistakes |
Re: What's happened to Colston?
Starting to get the alligator arms. Understandable. He's taken alot of shots.

Re: What's happened to Colston?
All of our receivers are dropping balls. I think part of the problem lies somewhere else. If he was the only one then I would be down on him. We need him
|
Re: What's happened to Colston?
He fumbled that ball. The 'hands to the face' call was ticky-tacky. We won that game with smoke and mirrors.
|
Re: What's happened to Colston?
Stills also looks scared out there. Something that I never saw last season. Probably that quad injury is still bothering him.
I don't know what is going on with Colston. He was one tough mot******. Now he is afraid to take a hit. |
Re: What's happened to Colston?
that is what happens when you get hung out to dry with all those high throws and back os the shoulder catches. you age quickly. Jimmy is next in line

Let's geaux back to putting Colston wide. |
Re: What's happened to Colston?
Lovie should have challenged it, we got lucky there for sure.
Glad we have Colston, the real question is why did we keep Meach? |

Morgan's continued "development". Coleman can't catch. Toon is a ba-foon. |
Re: What's happened to Colston?
its the concussion issues with colston, hes been popped to many times taking shots for us over the years . now we have players losing their minds in their early retirement ages and I really think hes educated himself on it and its working on his mind. jmo but look this was the best hands in football at one time with the likes of fitchgerald. i'm worried about him this hopefully maybe something else going on inside like some are saying. our wideouts suck right now.

Re: What's happened to Colston?
Colston made a pretty nice extended arm grab in the first quarter
he sure is slowing down and flops down right when he catches it I think that's a reaction to "I got the first down, don't wanna fumble it" mentality |
Re: What's happened to Colston?
Father time is undefeated and Marques is going to lose to him . It seems to me that his end is near. He looks bad. We need to retool at WR. Next off season is going to.be interesting . We need help at.LB,OL ,WR CB. Still looking for that pass rusher.

Re: What's happened to Colston?
When a receiver starts hearing the footsteps the clock starts running down. Happens to all of them sooner or later.
