Congratulations of sorts are in order. The Saints have now dropped to 10th for most points allowed in the NFL. Yet another miracle of the bye week.

141 points allowed :bugeyes:

On the bad side we are the only team in the top 10 to have only played 5 games. all the rest have played 6

but on the bright side :p

1 Tampa - 204
3 Atlanta - 170
6 Panthers - 157

I think the goal is simple. A win and the Lions must be held to 14 points or less.

NFC South title is well in our reach. ;)

141 pts?!? Jeeezeee. The 2000 Ravens gave up 161 through 16 and we give up 141 in 5. Thats crazy to think about.

Only division where all teams have a negative point differential. If we win by 9 we are back to push. I don't think the other teams will even get close.

Look, if they are not motivated by what happened this past Sunday to the falcons & the panthers than there is no hope for them.

If we pull this out we are right back in it. We need home field and if we get this road win I think we can have home over the Shehawks. We will beat Dallas to death even if we have to go there for one game in the playoffs. Drew will snap for the rest of the season starting Sunday and it wont even matter how many points the D gives up. WHO MUTHA F#^@@$ DAT

Very doable ... other than vs the two New York teams, the Lions struggling offense has really only managed 1-2 TD's a game ... and you all have seen what's been going on with the kicking game, eh?

all depends on how you look at things. took me a while to find a way to look at this season and see the silver lining. we for me there it is.

I have faith in SP to right the ship offensively and crank out more points

I have to pray Rob can figure out a way to use this over load of safeties ideology and stop some one. maybe Rob might need to admit this defensive system is not to complicated it just does not work. looking like the cowboys he left behind.

till then lets get this baby cranked up

This season just continues to prove whoever gets hot at the right time could go all the way. Most of the teams that are getting it done now have proven they can't keep it going all season before.

Yep, but I'm somewhat of the opinion that a Brees-led offense should put more points up vs Detroit's top-ranked-but-haven't-played-anybody defense than a Stafford-led offense will vs the Saints D. Kyle Orton did it, Scam shredded them, it shouldn't be that big a deal for Drew, :).

Bingo! Lions started out 6-3 last season only to wind up 7-9 ... it's been a long time since they put together a complete season. Even with a win in Wk #7 vs the Saints, they'll have a hard time finishing 8-8, IMO ... second half schedule is a biotch! :lol:.

You are right there. We thought the world was on fire because we got beat-down by Dallas in Dallas. Then the Boys roll up the PED-Hawks in Seattle like nobody's business.

WE have not gotten hot yet. We WILL get hot. And WE will get back that rotten NFC South Championship. Atlanta, Carolina & Tampa don't deserve it.

Hey, our defensive points per game has improved from worst to 5th worst!!!

At least we're trending in the right direction.
