I guess this was Rob Ryan "getting weird"


Weakside linebacker, didn't even play a full run of college ball... drafted with the intent to start on special teams and fill a depth need at middle linebacker. Then mysteriously moved to outside linebacker, pass rusher, playing with his hand on the ground, even though he's never previously played a down of football that way before in his life. Then he's injured, but not really so injured after all....

I can't help but wonder if we are dealing with Rob Ryan "getting weird" which actually means in translation, "I bend over to watch every down with my hands on my knees, and I may not know what the hell I'm doing."

Curiouser and courioser. How could a player go from being good enough to use a teams only IR to return tag, to being dropped by two teams that need LB depth in just a week.

There's got to be more to the story.

Khairi? look at the kids history.

he ran away from Penn st when the crap hit the fan. in my book strike 1

coming out of USC injury issues were all over the kid. minor and a major. people questioned if he could play through some or not. strike 2

as an ILB he had very poor angles of attack inside and out. strike 3

the first strike made me wonder about his commitment,
the second one made me wonder about intestinal fortitude.
the last one made me wonder about his football IQ

he had the natural god given ability but was nothing more than a wasted pick. PS material at best.

Ryan blew this one big time.

Dude had some promise & talent, and it's a shame wasting that on a 4th rd pick who's mind isn't right for the job. Who knows...maybe the kid's light bulb will come on before it's too late for him? In perspective, it was a 4th rd pick. He had to have been a Rob Ryan pick, and we're all fortunate RR is not our GM.

Missing meetings...really, stooge? You were getting paid to attend meetings...for 2 separate teams in a 2 week span...and you didn't even have to play on Sundays. You had the opportunity. Now you can attribute your unemployment to laziness and immaturity.

Get your mind right, Khairi. Some of us want to see you play on Sundays.
