We don't know how to CLOSE and FINISH fella's. There was no reason for us to blow this game but we did.

Carolina and Atlanta are trying to gift wrap the NFC south to us but we don't want it. Guess who is up next? .. Aaron Rodgers and company.

I've been calling out Brees and these wacky interceptions for a while now. Best QB we ever had. Brought us a ring. Hall of Famer. Top 5 one of the best of all time to me. But I'm not here to congratulate him on what he used to do when he's on the field closing out those last two drives the way he did.

Oline played decent, defense played well till the Tate TD... after that everything fell apart. The twist by the refs just added to the bad story!

Atlanta AND Carolina both lost. We just have to start winning a couple of games, win both against Carolina and we should still be in the hunt. I´m not giving up this season! I fly to the Dome all the way from Austria, Europe - pay and avalanche to watch my saints against the Whiners and the Bengals. i want them to still be in the hunt at that point of the season!

Drew threw an interception once again under pressure. yep should have thrown that one away for sure. that DB had a bead on that route all the way. saints bread and butter play called once to often.

OL got man handle by one of the best DL in the NFL right at the end.

Defense stops a fourth to win the game! opppssss bush all over bush. no reason to commit that fowl. tackle bush and it is done.

SJB was he on the wrong page by turning the WR over to the safety on the inside? Or did the safety blow it by playing the up man? either way complete stupidity on that cluster mess of a play

Tate is fast but that was whole scheme was terrible. first player to to arrive to help clean up that mess was a LB?

saints defense still can not close out a game when it is called upon.

All in that was the best 3 and 3/4 road game the saints have played all year.

Yep, destroy the whole team to get rid of a HOF QB... Makes complete sense to me, but oh wait with the cap hit you won't have room to fill all these "terminated" contracts... And some of these terminated contracts will have hits too

There's a lot of reasons we lost but that TD to Tate is what has me most furious. That offense couldn't get any big plays the whole game then we give them a 73 yard TD and all a sudden it's a game. If we make a tackle there there's no way Detroit has enough time to get 2 scores.

This year is toast. We knew the bitter pill was coming. Next year he is a year older and playing probably even worse. I don't know what our transistion plan is to our next QB but it's not without pain. We held onto him too long. I just hope we lose out and get a good draft choice. We can't compete right now with this roster.

That 4th quarter was horrible...Defense and offense...the players didn't make the tackles...O - line was horrible on the last drive but ironically they did give Brees a little time. He can't throw ints like that...not at that point in the game....and he should have taken a sack at the end of the game...keep the clock running...I'm sick of this...and The DBs need to practice angles this week....damn!!!!!

We are just pissed as hell to lose one in this manner..for 3 guarters we were back to continding form which i have not seen since the 3rd preseason game. For what its worth im saying we will turn this thing around and win the dam div. And its how u finish as long as we arrive . It will get there boys and girls.

Brees sense 2011 I think has been a great QB, still is. Just not elite. His timing is off. Still a great QB, just loses some games choking. Arm is fine, accuracy is there, but I noticed in 2011 his timing is getting worse.

I feel like this is the worst loss of the season so far... the type of loss that can cause a team to tailspin.

Maybe I feel like that because it's so recent, but man those guys in the locker room must feel like they are cursed.

Moving on... what do you do? You play great for 55mins and lose a double digit lead in the last 5 mins. Sure, we can blame the refs but it's the team that lost the game.
