We lost big whoop
The team we fielded today can beat any other crappy team in our division and at this point that's all that matters. We can win the division and get home field in a game and gain some momentum that takes us who knows where. Every year some team starts clicking late in the season and that will just have to be us. Hell the Giants did it twice.
Our o line gave decent protection against the number one D in the league. Our D looked to finally at the least look like they learned to tackle. As bad as we have looked in previous games, with the exception of Dallas,we got beat by only one point. |

We lost big whoop? LMOA
this is not just about a team losing as much as it is losing makes my work week seem that much longer and even more miserable. The saints owe me to make 1/3 of work year just fly by Yes they are responsible for my happiness from opening camp till they pack up the lockers and head home for the start of the off season. Dam it they owe me this much :) |
Re: We lost big whoop
Here's what bothers me...
Blew a 13 point lead on Atlanta Blew a lead twice in Cleveland in the 2nd half Blew a 13 point lead against Detroit. |
Re: We lost big whoop
Losing is one thing ... choking is another. That's why this one is frustrating.

Re: We lost big whoop
Agree so we suck this year. It's not like we haven't been before, I was there then..... I'm here now. Just win this crap division this year. Then it's a new season

Re: We lost big whoop
There is a lot of relief in todays loss. We now know we aren't great, we know home field and a first round bye is a pipe dream, we know we really shouldn't be in the super bowl discussion. All we have to do is watch and support and hope we play spoilers to a couple of teams. Takes a lot of the stress out of the season. Its like a death and I have gotten to the acceptance stage. As bad as we are we are still in it and with the way the division is looking we probably will be in it until the last few games of the season. Sit back and just enjoy football, maybe we will surprise a few good teams.

Re: We lost big whoop
8-0 at home 4-4 on the road, 12-4 still a possibility, bout to run off 10 straight. That's how this Saints fan rolls.

Re: We lost big whoop
We are not going 8-0 at home, we are losing one of those three home games in that homestand. I think we lose also in TB remaining but Pittsburgh and Chicago may not be all that hard.
If we had Graham we win this game. He is missing and Payton isn't using Cooks as a stud. So maybe because the rest of our receivers are underdeveloped and lack consistency and enough targets he has to start forcing it to Graham. |

WR depth is always over rated IMO with the saints. Imagine Drew with the niners WR group Michael Crabtree i pass on. but Brandon Lloyd Anquan Boldin Stevie Johnson thats is scary combos and beats our depth hands down. I use them because they have cap issue like us an a 100 million dollar QB to boot. thank god kapastink does not have his act together in the passing game yet. And still manage to get a grouping like this? Ok the front office is doing something wrong cap wise. I know pulling wabbitts out of a hat by mickey floors us at times but to be honest it is not enough, |
Re: We lost big whoop
The Lions are on the upswing, the Saints on the downswing. Swagger is long gone, you can see the fear in their eyes. Dropped passes by Colston? Interceptions by Brees, Graham on the bench, offense has been figured out. The defense is going to have to win some games for us.
