isn't it ironic ...
We are a resounding 2-4. Nothing positive about that , however our division is also in quicksand right along with us. The immediate threat and Division champion panthers have gotten demolished by you guessed it the now visiting Greenbay Packers. I've always felt that loss in Greenbay of 2011 screwed with us a bit. That loss or one of the other 2 that year sent us to the then surging San Francisoco 49ers. That was in my opinion our year to Win it all as we did crush the visiting Giants that year who went on to Win the big dance. Dallas is on a similar tear as we were. So let's play some role reversal here.
The 2011 Saints played by the 2014 Cowboys. The 2011 49ers played by the 2014 Packers. The 2011 Packers played by the Eagles. At least so far ... So where does that Leave us ? Playing the Role of the 2011 Super Bowl Champion Giants. What about the previous year when we were defending Champs ? Remember how we had to go to lowly Seattle and get thrashed by a laughable team ? Yeah. Things come around full tilt. We will win the division at 9-7 , host the Seahawks and Travel To Arizona and beat the Divison Champion Cardinals. For this team Getting to the NFC championship would be plenty good. However we won't stop there. We will win it all. I mean which Super Bowl champion in the last 5 Years did you truly see coming at the beginning of each respective season ? The last overwhelming favorite to win it all was , us. Full Circle I hope I seeded that right. |

Romo's just working towards some of his finest choking. It will come. Whether its 13-3 in a Conference game, or a string of games late in the season blowing their chances, it will happen, and it will be marvelous to watch.

I saw solid an effort, fire and passion against the Lion that has been mostly lacking so far this season. It actually gives me a little hope.

Unfortunately a heart-breaking loss is typically followed by a blow out. So I'm going 31-30 Saints! |
Re: isn't it ironic ...
Rogers has been on-fire for the last 4-5 games. It will be a challenge to beat the Packers. Fortunately it is in the Dome (which was not the usual advantage against the Bucs, IMO), so we could come out on the positive side of a shoot-out. Can't say we automatically win however, like we would usually do with a home game.
