Ditto! If he's healthy he's better than Meachem......period. He can put his hands out to catch the ball. You gotta hit Meachem in the stomach when he's wide open basically. Hell during preseason supposedly Joe emerged as a tough run blocker. Who else in that locker room could give this team a spark?

I have to concur. I know they like to put meachem in for blocking but let's be honest, it's not like he's hine's ward good at blocking. Plus, he doesn't get the same separation he once did on shot plays. At the very least I know morgan is going to battle for balls in the air or hurt himself trying.

Gotta try something, why not. I know Drew overthrew him a few times, but overall Meach has been ineffective.

I'm sure if we continue this slide that all the backups will get playing time so the coaches can better evaluate them on film .

Sod it, we need somebody catching the deep ball. I saw him connect in pre-season. Let him play some snaps.

Taking a few risks, at this point, seems like a good idea to me.
