Slow start may propel impressive finish

Its no secret that we are in a terrible division. But as a team, this may be the most opportune time to bleed out teams with a 1000 paper cuts.

Come on ya'll, this is a very different start that I believe we have ever had since Sean/Drew. I do take in account the 2007 & 2008 season in factor. 2012 was BS, that is all.

What I mean by this is that we have all the talent in the world on this team. Maybe we are finally figuring out how to utilize it. Maybe its mental. Maybe it took time to develop and will progress as time goes on.

Once and when we find our identity, I see this team blasting through the Super Dome roof. We have to keep the gas pedal down and suffocate opponents every contest.

Here is my last point, we are not flying high (obviously) nor flying under the radar. Teams, media, ect. just do not respect us. This gives us an edge, just play game by game with massive aggression and lets do something we have never done before:

Make Non believers say, "how the hell did that just happen."
WHODAT for LIFE

I like your optimism. "Teams, media, ect. just do not respect us. " -- this is not true. Teams do respect us. The media does not -- however, we don't play them. Fortunate for them.

But, I agree this is a different kind of start for us in the 2000s. And, I've always thought that in the Payton-Brees era, we play better as the underdog.

You are so very right. We play our best football as underdogs. Remember Seattle in the 2010-11 playoffs then again in the 2011-12 playoffs against San Fran. Then last year we're underdogs going into Philly and we win. That whole 2009-10 miracle season we kinda were that hot underdog type team going into the Super Bowl.

I don't know what our problem on the road has been but whatever it was I can only hope that destroying GB erases it. All of our losses have been by narrow margins and it seemed as though our team was sleepwalking thru the games. One can only hope this GB win was the spark they needed to wake up and play like they mean it.

The TV analysts on Total Access say it's mental errors. They predicted we win tomorrow. F*ck if I know, but if it IS mental -- call the team shrink. Do it now.
