So we are road favs, again

Not a role we've done well in, and so much for staying under the radar

New Orleans Saints at
Carolina Panthers

NOS -3 105/115
O/U 49

I'm saying we break the trend this week

Saints 28-17

That would be awesome! Especially to then start a three game home stretch at .500 and leading the division.

Ah, the kiss of death. How many home dogs actually lost this season (you can't count the Jets or Jax)?

Thursday night looks even bleaker.

Carolina's won three of the last four against the Saints.

This will be a tough game.

Having to start two undrafted rookies

That is good news but these divisional games are always brutal.

2012 doesn't count.

Payton has won 5 of the last 6 against Carolina.

Hate being favored, especially on the road.

This is gonna be a tough game...division games usually are.

Re: So we are road favs, again

I think we come out on top in this game 8/10 times. Having 3 non-starters on the line is going to make things shaky for Newton. Sounds like we can get pressure consistently if Jordan and Gallete want to match their last two games. Should be no reason to lose this if they're that banged up. I'm not going to write it off especially since its a road game, but we should have this one.

Oh this is great news, if we can't get pressure against this make shift line we don't deserve to win. That's like a patchwork quilt, destroy them Rob Ryan, I said destroy them. My prediction: Pain!

60% of your oline missing is really tough to overcome, IDC who you are. If we were going into this game without Armistead (who BTW was a stud Sunday) Grubbs, and Evans I would not feel good.

I will say it again. this is the NFC South. no matter how good you are or how bad. throw the records out of the window. it will be a war

1. Carolina's offensive line has been a problem all season, and it could get worse this week. Undrafted rookie David Foucault will protect Newton's blindside against Junior Galette and the Saints' pass rush with Byron Bell nursing a knee injury. The Panthers will also be without starting guards Amini Silatolu and Trai Turner, making this an inviting matchup for Cameron Jordan and Akiem Hicks up front.

plus, Carolina has 2-3 lame duck wins against us. I remember two years in a row we played backups in the last game of the season.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As of noon Thursday, we are solid 3 point favorites, and the O/U has creeped up to 50 -- Vegas figuring on more points definitely is a good sign
