Thursday Night Football: Game Day Status
 

I've been training the drinking arm all week. Feels good.

The peg leg is a little nicked up -- but that's expected -- I'm a veteran.

I've got ferrel cat and sausage gumbo on the stove.

I will be in the bag by game time so, I need to put the remote some where I can find it.

I'm a full go.

After going to the sperm bank 5 times this week, I saved up enough money to buy ice to cool down my walnuts and beer. In separated ice chest of course. Dont make this weird :-)

NFL Network a full-go.

My status is "doubtful" for temper tantrums & jumping around like an idiot. The back & neck injuries will prevent me from throwing stuff more than 5 pounds at the TV. The IIH and associated headaches will also prevent me from hurling streams of obscenities and having the cops show up at the house.

Superstitious status is a "full-go". Pajama pants & sweatshirt is tip-top shape & the #26 Deuce jersey is in the closet in case of emergency. Wife will be watching some reality crap and out of the room, so +1 in the superstition department.

I'm right there with you Jack. I was a lock until I got the news that I needed NFL Network. I've made arraignments to get off work early and currently I'm in talks with friends about using their home as my temporary training facility. I've got two opinions so far and it looks like I'm gonna be a go.

We're a few hours ahead in Australia, so the game screens live here at 11.30am Friday. We have a public holiday next Tuesday, so a lot of people have taken today and Monday and have gone away on five day vacations. I'm at work, but I've already made plans to go to a pub close by to watch it from about midday. I'll have a few beers, but unfortunately, I have to come back and keep working when it ends.

Hopefully I come back happy, at least. It would be a great way to start the weekend. Geaux Saints!

Finally back in the country... missing Bob Dylan in Oakland... Beer Cold... Big Screen Projector... but have to stream it from First Row... THe game is usually¥ at least 30 secs - to a minute behind real time so no texting please. Did I mention beer's cold?
