Who is bored, too?

I look forward to Sundays. With no Saints, I am jumping out of my skin. What games do you recommend watching? I'm desperate enough to turn on a Jags or Raiders game.

Manning vs Brady comes on at 3:25 central time. And the primetime game Ravens @ Steelers should be a good one.

As for the noon games, Cardinals @ Cowboys or Eagles @ Texans look like the best ones to watch in my opinion.

Re: Who is bored, too?

I like watching games with the worst teams in the league (i.e. Raiders & NYJ & Jax)...apparently I have a strong attraction to dumpster fires. It gives me a good perspective on our Saints team and it gives me a deeper appreciation for Drew Brees & Sean Payton.

I'll probably try to watch the Cowgirls - Cards game....get bored and play Destiny on my PS4.

Yes, I'm a 36 year old that plays video games sometimes.

I'm pushing 40 and I make it a point to play Tecmo Bowl 3 on my Super Nintendo a few times a week...real old school.

So no judgement here, bro.

I'll put it on Sunday Ticket Game Mix and watch all eight early games at the same time. I can toggle from one to another to pick up whichever video I want.

Cards/Cowboys for me

Re: Who is bored, too?

Cardinals @ Cowboys ( I want to see cards destroy cowgirls, also some strange remarks from Cowboys camp about Weeden (great vs the blitz, WTF?))

Eagles @ Texans (Watt vs eagles O-line and Fitzmagic vs poor eagles secondary)

K Major 11-02-2014 11:52 AM

Re: Who is bored, too?

Rams / 49ers (specifically to see our next opponent) and Cows/Cards.

Romo ruled out.. ol man Weeden has to deal with the Red birds pass rush.

Re: Who is bored, too?

Texans lost 2 starting corners. First play after joseph injury: bomb to Maclin for TD.

next drive: Foles pick 6. lol

Re: Who is bored, too?

Foles is hurt. Sanchez is in the game. Not looking good for Panthers game.

no divisional games bc we don't really have a division + it's too early to start projecting playoff matchups = very bored.

Weeden doing his best Romo impersonation. lol

Patriots defense taking it to Manning

SaintLeonard 11-02-2014 05:15 PM

Manning is getting demolished by Brady, as usual.

Watching the Niners/Rams... I hope that MLB Wilhoutte (sp) plays next week against us. He misses tackles - arm tackling.

Re: Who is bored, too?

I am sure it has been said before - and more eloquently - but Professional Football should be played on Sunday. OK I'll give ya the one odd Monday night game. And Thanksgiving...But other than that... Sunday. Sunday dagnab it.

I can plan my week around it - You could point to a Sunday in November 20 years from now and Ill tell you where I will be - but this Thursday thing has got to go. There are only 16 regular games (more than there used to be) but Sunday afternoon - it is a law like gravity and christmas is on the 25th of December. And Friday night is Highschool Football and Saturday night is Race Night.

It is a part of the beauty of the game. Its simplicity and reliability. Baseball has 2000 games played 8 thimes a day - who can watch all that? gimme my sunday afternoons for a third of the year - it is not a lot to ask.

Who ever heard the cliche "On any given Thursday..."

Oakland hanging around at the end of the 3rd Qtr? Down by 1 TD @ Mighty Seattle and in front of the big bad 12th man?

And we were complaining about TB taking us to OT.

And with what; 4 turnovers?

Austin Davis missed so many opportunities. If SF blitzes like this against us we are gonna destroy that defense.

Whoops...spoke too soon. 27-17. If Oakland comes back, it will be the miracle of the season.

I'm bettin' Willis will be back next week against us. And would not be the least bit surprised if ol' boy Aldon Smith miracles his way back against us, either.

Agreed, however Kaepernik was worse (8 sacks) today.

If he Saints bring their A game, 49ers are getting blown out next sunday.

Believe that :bng: .

was kinda hoping for a rams win - would rather play a team coming off of a win than a loss - not sure what the stats are on that.

What inquiring minds want to know...did he at least kiss his bicep when he fumbled on the goal line? THAT would have been awesome...
