Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

4-0 anyone??

Whiners
Bengals
Ravens @ home
+ Saints @ Pittsburgh

I don't know about anyone else, but I am feeling great about these games- not cocky by any means - but quietly confident. Whiners asides, these teams have been earning some respect around the league and I really feel we can get the job done against each one.

On the road vs Pittsburgh looks the toughest, of course, but we seem to be getting our %$#@ together around the park at last.

The shudder through the league after week 13 could be fantastic.

Exciting times.

Thoughts?

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

I picked 4-0, mainly because 3 of the next 4 are @ home.

3-1

3-1
the next three games at home are brutal and the saints offense must be perfect to win them

big ben against our secondary? on the road? pray for a Cam type of melt down on that one. or Big Ben cools off.

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

The way Pitt is playing we have our work cut out. Not to mention their defense starting to figure things out. Hmmmm. Who does this sound like?

We have a "thing" with the Bungles, just like we have a "thing" with the Turds. For some reason, no matter how much better we are, they just seem to kick our butts. Steelers are for real this season.

2-2

I echo xan. 2-2 and I pray we do better.

We don't play them very often but I think we're pretty even with the Bengals.

We're 6-6 against the Bengals over the history of the franchise.
We're 1-1 against them since Payton has been the coach.
We beat them the last time we played them.

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

The Ravens are the ones we've never beaten under SP. Time to end that nonsense.

Pittsburgh looking good - that one worries me most. Just win the NFC game against the Evil Empire and take at least 2 of 3 from the AFC North teams coming up...

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

I got them 4-0. Keenan will have that secondary fired up to play in Pittsburg, no way he wants to let Big Ben throw all over them.

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

Just get 3-1 here and we might get 4-0 on the final quarter of the season. I'd take 11-5.

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

My mind says 3-1. My heart says 4-0.

And since I'm already on record in another thread boldly predicting we "shall not lose again this season", color me in at 4-0 baby!

**** It; 4-0!

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

Since I am going to the Ravens game and I have never attended a losing effort in the SP/Brees era, I know we will win that one. 4-0

WHODAT!!!

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

Interesting tidbits for the games:
Drew Brees has beat 31 different NFL teams, the Ravens are the last team that needs to be defeated. (Joins Manning and Farve as only players to beat all 32)
Keenan Lewis returns to the Steelers, he has been much better with New Orleans.
The Bungals are copycats with their "Who Dey" motto
Besides the 2012 year we all try to forget, the last time the 49ers beat the Saints in the regular season was 2002

Re: Can't wait for the next 4 games ...

Tom Brady has also beat all 32 teams
He's beat the three in his division
He's beaten Pittsburgh 5 times
He's beaten Cincinatti 5 times
He's beaten Cleveland 4 or 5 times(depending on 01 if he played them)
He's beaten Baltimore 5 or 6 times
He's beaten Indy 6 or 7 times
He's beaten Tennessee 5 times
He's beaten Jacksonville 4 times
He's beaten San Diego 4 timess
He's beaten Oakland 4 times
He's beaten Denver 5 times(and four straight)
He's beaten Kansas City 3 or 4 times
He's beaten Philadelphia 3 times
He's beaten Washington 2 times
He's beaten New York Giants 2 or 3 times
He's beaten Dallas 3 times
He's beaten Chicago 3 times
He's beaten Green Bay 2 times
He's beaten Detroit 3 times
He's beaten Minnesota 4 times
He's beaten us 2 times
He's beaten Carolina once
He's beaten Tampa Bay 3 times
He's beaten Atlanta 3 times
He's beaten Arizona 1 time
He's beaten St.Louis 2 times
He's beaten San Francisco 1 time
He's beaten Seattle 1 time.

The confusion is 2001 in which given how the schedule was done then I don't know who he played entirely and who he beat or lost to so just going by since 2002 re-alignment where he has clearly beaten every team at least once.

Has he beaten the Patriots?

Dalton is rubbish! We are definitely not losing to the Bengals.

I like that. Such optimism too.

Impressive effort. You did not state Brady's v Houston's record

The collapse of the Bengals has begun, we will strike them while they are in ruins.

Brady hasn't beaten the Patriots, has he? How could he? Brees beat the Jim Haslett era Saints, Nov. 7, 2004, and he not just beat them, he clobbered them!

Favre and Manning have also beat the Packers, Colts respectively. Brady?

No, and in all likelihood, he never will ... he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that's going to play for another franchise just to get a few extra seasons under his belt at the end of his NE career, eh?
