I thought Rambo would be good.

What baggage did Pierre Warren have that we didn't want to keep him?!?
He had some great moments during the PreSeason... |
Re: New Orleans Saints bring in seven players for tryouts on Monday
Really thought Rambo was a stud in college. He was just in the wake of some great talent in front of him at UGA it seems now. Tackling can be cleaned up, but a safety that can't tackle is really bad.
Really weird to see we've brought in 2 more fullback-types. Lorig has looked like some hot garbage since he's been in there...missed blocks, terrible pass protection which led to a Brees fumble, fumbled a ball against GB. There is an obvious drop-off with Austin Johnson out of there. |

futures contracts (or whatever they are called) on the horizon
same thing last year |

I too thought Rambo could be a good NFL player.
Don't get down on Lorig yet. Even Vaccaro took 4 games to shake the rust and he had an entire training camp. |

Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Not much left on the streets this late in the season.

He was activated from PUP last August, but was a "healthy" scratch for all 18 Chargers games, including playoffs. Beat writers noticed diminished explosion at OTAs. Likely damaged goods, we wouldn't expect Taylor to earn a look on waivers, but his draft pedigree could net him a minimum deal before camp Brandon Taylor - Unsigned Free Agent - 2014 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com more time out migyht mean he has recovered that explosive edge again |
