Sean Payton: Joe Morgan's suspension is not season-ending
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan's suspension is not season-ending, coach Sean Payton said Thursday, but did not elaborate.
Morgan was suspended by the team last week for undisclosed reasons. While at teammate Jairus Byrd's charity event Monday, Morgan declined to discuss his status with the team but said: "I'll be back." According to the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement, a team may suspend a player without pay for up to four weeks and fine them one week's salary for conduct detrimental to the club. It is unclear if that applies in Morgan's situation Sean Payton: Joe Morgan's suspension is not season-ending | NOLA.com |

Re: Sean Payton: Joe Morgan's suspension is not season-ending
True because now every incident is out in the open and fair game for the media. Wait except for Roger's little mishaps and Jerry's sexual misconduct capers! If you have the big money it buys you a get out of jail card every-time.

The Saints need him on the field. Even in his limited role. I hope everything works out on and off the field.

Re: Sean Payton: Joe Morgan's suspension is not season-ending
I agree they need him. If he could stay healthy he could be one of the top receivers out there. Obviously something is very wrong on multiple levels. Payton would put him out there unless he had a good reason not to.

Re: Sean Payton: Joe Morgan's suspension is not season-ending
I don't think we need him. He is 26 and has 10 career catches.

Question remains, what did Joe do?!?
