Bill Vinovich has been a decent, no-nonsense type ref as far as I've been able to tell. I tend to think he calls a straight-forward game. He doesn't make sh*t up like McAuley or Hochuli or Triplette.

Hochuli is one of the best, if not the best, officials in the NFL. He's a practicing attorney and always explains the calls thoroughly. As far as I know he's the highest regarded ref, as voted by the coaches.

Bill was also the ref for the saints vs Miami game last year in the dome.

"Guns" Hochuli gets undue criticism; he has been among the best in the League...

The most overrated was Mike Carey, who's games were among the most lopsidedly called; the guy even lost his coin before a game for the coin toss...

That's some pretty pathetic sh*t right there...

One of the worst moment though was Referee Phil Luckett's Coin Toss Gaffe with Steelers Bettis; though I enjoyed some schadenfreude as the Steelers usually get most of the calls in big games, that was pretty bad...

How do you like this crew now after the bull sshhiitt call on the total acting job flop at the end of game td to Jimmy.Saints should make a moral claim of victory as i smeellllls a old roger dogger rat talk wink an nod to refs as he has big time hard on against Saints.:twisted::twisted::crazy::bng:

Graham shouldn't have put both hands on the player and extended his arms, the refs knew who the ball was going to and whilst the 9er player did oversell the dive, Graham could have caught it without pushing

He's 6" 7 for Christ sake, going against guys who are barely 6" 0
