SAINTS VS. 49ers LIVE GAMEDAY CHAT

So much to be frustrated about in this game but for me it's the defense again. Seems like late in the 4th quarter this defense just can't make a play. Atlanta, Cleveland, Detroit and now SF. All those games we led late and the defense gave it away.

I'm not excusing the turnovers and questionable play calling on offense but at the end of the day we had the lead and the defense once again came up small late in the game.

We had the lead for 2 mins... the d held them to ****ty yardage but the turn overs by brees lost us another ****ung game.

90% on payton and brees

Was that Brees fault or the O-Line who let the end whip around and hit Brees in the back?

He had the deep pass to Stills open twice, but the O-Line had trouble protecting for the extra second for Drew to release the ball...

Man Brees stood in the damn pocket for at least 5 Mississippi's. He need 10 seconds to throw the ball now? He lost it for us.

he had 5 secs to throw the ball... should have ran it for the first down he had open field. It wasn't just that play, before the half we had an easy FG but Brees throws a pick, starting the game with a pick which turns into 7 for SF. Brees has been doing this **** all year. He is almost on pace for the most INTs of his career and is on pace for the most turnovers. Sick of watching our star QB throw games away when he should be the one winning them.

Just go ahead and skip the defensive miscues on your mission to place all the blame on Drew... Or forget the unneeded "push-off" from Graham who could have caught it without it... Or the few drops which could have kept drives going...

Payton and Ryan cost us this game.

It's true that Drew turns the ball over too much but a lot of that is because 1) the play calling is awful (throw it on 3rd and 2 in OT? Really?). 2) He gets no protection (he couldnt have even thrown it away on that last play: he was totally swamped). And 3) He knows the Defense can't stop a kitty cat.

The defense held them to a field goal and gave the ball back to the offense with time on the clock and a timeout to spare. Brees had 3 turnovers. It's all on him.

In recent years our clock management has been very poor. (Brees and Payton) . It is something that can and must be fixed.

Defense played great 2nd half & OT, but the game should have never got to OT...Corey White should never have gave up that piss poor 51 yard bomb. I understand kenny was in cover 2 & had the top, but he did his job & corey left crabtree completey thinkin the play was over. Not trying to pick on the kid, but most of the 9ers production went 24's way.

Hats off to Keenan & his tremendous effort but one can wonder wat could have been if he was in on that last 4th & long on crabtree to prevent OT.

Offense didnt play the most spectacular game, but i gotta say when it comes down to it this loss is also attributed to the Horrible playcalling in OT. Why in the world did we not Run the ball?!? We should have had the same mimdset as the tampa bay OT finish. 2nd & 6 & we play 5 wide!?!?? Forcing us to throw again on 3rd! Run the ball, felt as if we were playing from behind at that point again. Smh.

I am proud of the way we overcame adversity early & nearly pitched a shutout in the 2nd half. Tough loss to swallow.

Well i need to get me some food to free my mind haha. Lets get the next one guys. Whodat
