We have a losing record
But we are lucky our division is crap this year. We also get our two toughest rivals at home. We are losing mainly because of stupid mistakes and fundamental break downs. Those things can be changed. A stiff kick in the balls and some back to basics coaching could turn this team around.
We have seen growth, we just need to get mentally tough. A team like ours has the potential to get things clicking late in the season and make a run. Giants did it twice. It's gonna take some balls but it ain't over. I got a feeling |
Re: We have a losing record
But no matter what happens tomorrow night we are still winning the division.

Re: We have a losing record
Loss vs falcons - D couldn't tackle, colston fumbles in OT
Loss vs browns, turnovers by offense, D leaves someone uncovered 40 yards down field Loss vs Dallas - completely blown out Loss vs Detroit - D unravels, Brees throws back breaking pick Loss vs 9ers - Brees turns ball over 3 times, D unravels in critical moment once again. |

Re: We have a losing record
Every time I think I have a good feeling about this team they prove me wrong. It's when I'm so frustrated that I don't know how much more I can take that they pull a rabbit out of their hats and blow out a team like the Packers. But then, that was a night game at home where we seem almost literally invincible. I don't get this team. I'll never understand what the freaking difference is between day and night at home. It's a home game in a dome! It's always going to look and feel the same exact way. What's the freaking problem?
Between the vast difference of being home or away, and the vast difference between playing a home game at day or night, I don't know what blows my mind more. Even though we still usually win during the day, you have to admit we have played some crappy games against bad teams like the Bucs, for instance. What a mental bunch. |
Re: We have a losing record
4 losses with a combined total of 9 points is painful stuff on everybody. I wanted to smash my coffee mug so much today and I am really amazed I didn't:) Those 4 losses have all been gutting~ like a knife int eh face kind of gutting.
Having said that, had we been able to close in the final minute of each game, we'd be roaring right now. It defn isn't all bad. There was a sense of inevitability to Kap's 52 lob today, however, and we need to get that head space sorted. We panic too much, the coaches and the players on all sides of the ball. Thank god we're in the South this year. We can still do this- definitely. |

If this were a better division -- well, we'd be done. So, we don't get to the playoffs the usual route. Who the F cares?! I sure as hell don't. And, I don't care if this team's marbles are scrambled sometimes either. Win the division is the mantra now. Get on board with that my friends or crawl back under that rock where your perfect football fantasy life exists only in your own mind. |

Re: We have a losing record
Curious why Carolina and Atlanta have hit the skids the same as us. Tampa has solid reasons for their situation and was expected. Were talking an entire division fell from Grace. How odd that not one of the three teams is getting hot down the stretch. No Party Down South!
