Re: Saints' cap woes likely mean Mark Ingram set to join free-agent class
I think Loomis will work something out, he normally does
I'd like to think management know how good Ingram is and would work to keep him. |
Re: Saints' cap woes likely mean Mark Ingram set to join free-agent class
Ain't this something! When I wanted to trade or get rid of him the front office stuck with him, now that I been slightly persuaded he is good as gone next year

Ingram is the only back who can take a hit. Keep him

Re: Saints' cap woes likely mean Mark Ingram set to join free-agent class
this should be the first year he can redo that contract. If not i would be open to a Payton Manning type of trade offers at this point. listen at least.

Imagine Ingram in a falcon jersey. I don't wanna see that

Re: Saints' cap woes likely mean Mark Ingram set to join free-agent class
You'll be missing him when we've got two starting RBs our with injuries.

Re: Saints' cap woes likely mean Mark Ingram set to join free-agent class
Running back by committee is a garbage philosophy, period imo. Ingram in a feature situation would probably thrive, say like in Seattle, heaven forbid. But our philosophy doesn't fit him, hope he finds success w/ his next team, cuz it's doubtful it will be with us.

Re: Saints' cap woes likely mean Mark Ingram set to join free-agent class
Ingram has shown some intense frustration with the time-share at tail back approach. He walks after the season to a team without that kind of philosophy. Couldn't say I'd blame him, either. Our style of offense doesn't play to his strengths enough.
