Crap. Byrd, Sunseri, now Bush.

Sorry, but I just do not like Ball. That horribly stoopid play on his little blitz play today just gave me more reason not to like this dude. I just haven't seen anything positive about this dude this year, or even in preseason for that matter.

Thought Warren outplayed him...just my opinion.

Warren did outplay Ball that whole preseason i dont know what made them think Ball did hell he was hurt most of the time and when he did play he looked lost.

Keep forgetting Ball is SS and Warren is FS. That has to be the ba-gillion-th time I've done that. But we could use some Warren right about now.

And is it the RR scheme that is getting our safeties hurt at such an alarming rate? Or just some bad mojo? Good Lawd.

Really wish Bush, Sunseri, and Byrd a very healthy & full recovery...that crap of getting hurt like that has some long-term effects on a body.

True, I think the comparison is always made because Warren looked much better at FS than Ball did at SS for sure.

I can't see it as being the scheme, Bush was hurt on a tackle attempt. Could have happened to anybody, hell it happened to Reggie "Bush" while he was returning a punt.

Does seem like injuries are following Rob Ryan everywhere he goes though...

Yep. Sure enough in DAL it did. And that's what I get for trying to apply reason & logic for our starting FS and our back-up FS being out for the season. Football is just a rough sport with stretches of some bad mojo.

My only "logical" explanation for our safeties dropping is that RR's schemes use safeties closer to the LOS more than most DC's?

Beats me...talking out of my @$$ now.

that is not going to fly. this is Robs hand picked players. he decided on who stays and who goes on this unit. he did the picking.

people need to stop giving this guy a pass.

for over a year now this defense is looking more and more like the cowgirls defense he left behind. recent injuries do not cover up the play since the bye week of last year.

Bush wasn't having a great season but he was certainly much better than Vacarro. We are not going to be able to stop anybody with Ball out there. Might be time to put White at safety and throw SJB into the fire.

A good pass rush will solve the secondary problem. If the dt can get a harder push up the middle maybe Cameron & Junior can get to the qb

Reed is one of my favourite players of all time but he looked done ladt year. I'd rather take a player of a practice squad and see if we can find a player that can play.
