Draft Mariota or Winston ( Eww )

Cut Colston , Resign Ingram. If Ingram walks draft Gurley.

Spend the rest of the entire draft on Defensive Personnel.

Coaching Overhaul , Keep Ryan and Let him bring his Preferred guys.

No way we can get rid of Drew(money) and no way would I draft Gurley after he tore his ACL yesterday...

We are two years away before we can realistically start a rebuild...

We can build a winner in one offseason, add some decent defenders. Some oline help and we're just fine

We're probably not getting a high pick. Will probably win the division and being a playoff team puts us in the back 12 of draft picks.

We are not fine. We lack leadership and it starts from the top. I have the feeling, players are losing confidence in coaching staf. Even players like Brees, Lofton, Ingram etc.

I want Sean Payton back! I don't know who this guy is...

Nobody is giving up even a First rounder for Drew who's on the down side of his career. Maybe 2 good years left.

Do you really want to watch Brees go take another team to the Super Bowl? Because that's exactly what would happen.

Besides all that, he means way too much to the team and the city.

Trading him is one thing, replacing him another, :neutral: ... elite QB's don't grow on trees and QB/Coach relationships like Brees/Payton, Brady/Belichek, Kaepernick/Harbaugh, P.Manning/"insert h/c here", Rodgers/McCarthy don't come around everyday, :neutral: ... be careful what you wish for ... just sayin'.

Yeah, if you want to focus on one game, I suppose ... you've only been held under 21pts this season, what? Two games? Three games? He's still up pretty high on the board in most QB categories for 2014 also, <shrug> ... salary cap will kill ya' though, seems like you can find an example of it on just about every team ... like it's s.o.p. ... like the 'mortgage bubble', it's gonna' burst sometime, :neutral:.

I like Drew, I'll admit it ... I just hate seeing these guys get old, <sigh>.

We are stuck with him. He still has good football left in him and as much as I am frustrated at him it could be alot worse. I am no cap expert but wonder if his contract is what is really holding us back from making the line good again. If we can spend money on Byrd we should have had money for the oline it seems.

No Saintaintso. For all the reasons Mitch, SloMo and others mentioned, I agree.

YES, he is under a he contract for services rendered from 2005 to SB to whenever that contract was signed. I forgot. Last year?
It also pays him for his current value and value to come.
I am sure , his contract like contracts go, has some " if, but, when , if not, out" clauses.

Brees, under SP and his staff , has about two more years .lets be realistic.
When SP goes, his staff will follow him. Saints current team has many young players and you can see their potential: Cooks, Stills, Vacarro, Bush lead the list.
Saints older players who came in with Brees or about the same time are also with on the two year clock: Colston, Graham, etc. to be traded or will want to be traded.


Saints in two years , hopefully will have some good players in place for the new coaching staff and everything and it will not be a long , hard, losing rebuilding years.
That is what I hope.

I also hope for the this year and the net two Saints 'seasons end up 8-8, 9-7 or 10-6. You know, something decent. Ok.
They are on the decline right now. I am not being a negative. I am just being realistic.
