Yeah, I agree with the "why would you want an opponent's ball?" and the "it happens a lot in baseball" sentiments ... it's considered an honor in the Comerica Park left field seats to be escorted from the game by the ushers for throwing an opposing team's home run ball back onto the field, :D.

Glad she finally got a game ball. Thought I heard the taker quoted as saying, "I'm a Bengals fan too" ??. No excuse. Makes me half wonder if he's just a Cincinnati resident who happens to support the Saints, :rolleyes:.

We care because it puts N.O Fans , ALL OF THEM, in a bad light and on national tv at that. Thank goodness it was because Saints organization saw, heard, right then and there and sent a football to her.
