Baltimore is going down and here's why:
3 of their 6 W's were gifts from our Division! Sickening. I seriously doubt they are going to wedgy all of us. Somebody has to make a stand in the NFC South and we are the only ones that can do it at this point. Unless of course we wear our thongs again this week.

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
They kicked our freaking teeth in during pre-season.
But we all know pre-season is a mirage, right? |
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
If the team that beat the Packers comes and plays we win. If the team that plays like LSU on opposite day comes to the game it will be a long night. Who Dat.

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
3 straight losses in the Dome I just cant picture this happening... We are on MNF maybe that team that Beat up the Packers will show up for America to see.... 4-7 will be a terrible place to be heading to Pittsburgh the next week...

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
I guess we are about to find out the real character of our players...

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
Yeah maybe we will get up and have a better showing for the prime-time game. Or we will come apart at the seams with the world watching. I think it's probably one or the other.
|
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
We seem to find clairvoyance on prime time. I don't see us coming out flat as Payton said last week. If that happens we're done and something else is going on behind the scenes we are not aware of is how I see it. I think we recover and stay in the fight.

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
The Ravens are in a real divisional battle with every team in the division. They have a very thin margin for error to even make the playoffs sitting at 6-4. Unreal, right?
If there's any team that will be ready to play, it will be the Ravens. They're actually trying to keep pace with three other teams that are all at least 2 games above .500. Us? Ugh. We're pacing another 4-6 team. And a 3-7-1 who is still in the playoff hunt. It makes a huge difference. |

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
I'm not buying it. I see nothing that leads us to a win.
Sorry to say that, but that's what my tea leaves are telling me. |
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
3 home losses in a row AND losing at home on MNF? I can totally see that happening. It's been that kind of year
|
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
If we were going to take a stand in the NFC south wouldn't we have done it in the last 2 games?

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
you think Steve Smith will possibly be enthusiastic?
I don't want to see Keenan out there destroying his knee guarding him Corey, Robinson and Dixon don't stand a chance we better score early and often |

HAVE TO get pressure on Flacco. I think every home game now is a must win for any chance at the division. No pressure on Flacco with the state of our defensive backfield = Disaster. |
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
we must win
|
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
If we can't beat the Ravens in N.O. it will be very hard to beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Win vs. Ravens, hope for the best against the Steelers, and win out afterwards to take the NFCS and host a playoff game. Falcons and Saints both 5-1 in the division.

Another thing that has my concerned: Baltimore's Special Teams. Considering our spec teams units are coordinated by the drooling idiot McMahon, kick returns flipping the field position or actually scoring TDs will break this game wide-open...in Baltimore's favor. Got a feeling this is that one game per year where we out-play them on both offense & defense but get destroyed in special teams to keep this game much closer than it should be. And considering how bad we are in close games this year...well, crap. |
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
When a 2-8 team still has hopes, you're either talking the NFC Septic or the first two weeks of the MLB season. PATHETIC!!!
Saints finish 6-10 and NFC South Champs Then Saints finish 10-10 and Super Bowl Champs Then Roger Goodell forces the team to become the Tehran Infidels or disbands the NFL entirely... |
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
I fear Flacco, Smith and Smith will have BIG games. The Saints secondary is close to the worst in the league as it is right now.
|
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
Our offense can't score and the defense can't stop scoring drives by opponents.
|
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
Another week, another ballgame.
Whatever, the Saints have to turn up and play. There no gimmes in the NFL. We have to play good football and I hope to goodness we do that. |

But, wtf, we rally, play for pride. Can we do a reverse bounty -- dock pay based on performance. Is money a motivator? I can't even believe I'm writing this. I mean since when did the Saints look like they don't give a rat's a$$? This certainly is a shocking season. |
Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
If the Ravens get their run game going, look out. This only opens up what they do best, play action. Note that Steelers do the same thing. Thats the AFC Norths m.o. Our middle has been exposed all year and I can see those teams licking their chops right about now.

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
A lot of desperately hopeful posts in this thread.

Re: Baltimore is going down and here's why:
to beat the ravens the saints must keep the saints defense off the field.

Think we lose our next two games, and I don't think they will be competitive at all. We will be at 4-8 before we get our next win. I still think we win the South, but with a 6-10 record lol...
