God no! I'd put in a waiver claim for Ben Tate if we were that desperate. We had Mikel Leshoure in for a workout recently and I'd even consider him before Blount.

Pass, to the left hand side

That guy has got so many issues I wouldn't know where to start. Whether he's punching players, smoking dope, or leaving games early. I definitely would not want him on our team.

Hopefully the Falcons will sign him.

He doesn't have issues; he has a full subscription!

Please no. I can't stand this moron. He decked a player after a football game in college while he was shaking hands with Blounts teammates.

He's trash. A poison. Obviously a locker room problem. We have enough issues without bringing a guy in that has zero self control.

What a baby.

If we are going to sign a 'disgraced' runningback, Ray Rice would be a better fit.

I'd rather pull Mario Bates out of retirement.

Blount is trash. Zero character. A pouting turd.

Nope.

You wouldn't have to worry about him missing the team bus, eh?

He would be perfect for a team like the Cardinals. They're in contention. They need a RB. A pounder. Let him be the #1 guy for the rest of the season. Use his anger. Run him into the ground. Help the team go as far as they can. Cut bait next year.

I hope no team even touches him. As long as teams keep giving a**holes a second and a third and a fourth etc. chance to play because of their abilities regardless of the stupid stuff they do they will never learn and you'll se young players who think they can act in whatever manner they want.

You're absolutely right, IMO. There's a prominent example of a very talented kid in the Detroit PSL who made it a habit to emulate some of the bad habits demonstrated by the pros. I swear, watching him play as a freshman/sophomore in high school you thought you were watching the next RGIII, Cam Newton, Michael Vick (when he was good, ;)), Warren Moon, et ... the kid really stood out.

Fortunately for him, they got to him & are taking steps to curb his shortcomings. It'd be nice to see him play college ball & maybe get to the pros, but he's got to work on his self-control/discipline & anger-management issues first.

He is such an excellent running back, has to be a pain to deal with if he is only 5 years into his career and already on 3 teams. I would say for the short term, maybe give him a chance on signing him for the rest of the season. If he is really the biggest a-hole on the face of the earth, get rid of him after the season is over.

We have two backs that can do his job in Ingram and Robinson.
We may need another in the summer but he has had a fair few chances and blown them.

He could be this year's Julius Jones, in the middle of our <barf> division title race and <pukes in throat> playoff run!

We have to line up our nobody running back for the Seahawks wild card rematch...the guy who will go Beastmode on their defense in the Dome, while Lynch watches helplessly from the sidelines, injured....it's gotta happen.

Other issues with ol' boy is that he is actually bad in pass protection even for as big as he is, he is not even a below-average receiver out of the backfield, and he fumbles more than your average RB (about 1 every 49 carries).

In summary, Blount is a one-dimensional, pouting turd...who fumbles too much, can't catch & can't block.

We lost a lot of leadership in the locker room this off season.....we can't afford a cancer in the locker room as badly as we're playing.
