Re: 2015 draft??
Fanspeak's On the Clock Mock Draft Simulator
No. 013 (R1, 13) NT Jordan Phillips, Oklahoma; 6' 6", 334 lbs. No. 044 (R2, 12) LB Denzel Perryman, Miami (Florida); 5' 11", 245 lbs. No. 075 (R3, 11) LB Stephone Anthony, Clemson; 6' 3", 245 lbs. No. 109 (R4, 13) CB Ladarius Gunter, Miami (Florida); 6’ 1”, 200 lbs. No. 140 (R5, 12) RB Javorius Allen, So Cal; 6' 1", 220 lbs. No. 171 (R6, 11) OL Ben Beckwith, Miss State; 6' 4", 317 lbs. No. 205 (R7, 13) LB Davis Tull, Tennessee-Chattanooga; 6’ 3”, 245 lbs. With this draft simulation, was able to get the middle of the field tightened up... Found another great CB candidate to develop without using a high pick... Allen is a great fit to what the Saints do in the backfield... Beckwith adds to Lelito to give us a great young interior line corps to develop; invaluable depth... Wouldn't it be great to find Tull with a seventh.... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Injuries are a concern but my biggest issue is he's a flash player. Makes the one highlight play then disappears. Goes on a stretch without getting much production and stays blocked. Although i am intrigued by his potential & size. Rather wait & see if we can land him in the 2nd, i Doubt it but id feel more comfortable that route. Same with Arik Armstead at DE |

No. 013 (R1, 13) OL Brandon Scherff, Iowa; 6' 5", 320 lbs. No. 044 (R2, 12) LB Denzel Perryman, Miami (Florida); 5' 11", 245 lbs. No. 067 (R3, 03) LB Lorenzo Mauldin, Louisville; 6' 4", 255 lbs. Traded Pick 075 (R3,11) and a Future 4th round pick with Jacksonville No. 109 (R4, 13) LB Stephone Anthony, Clemson; 6’ 1”, 200 lbs. No. 140 (R5, 12) CB Eric Rowe, Utah; 6’ 1”, 204 lbs. No. 171 (R6, 11) RB Michael Dyer, Louiisville~Auburn; 5' 9", 215 lbs. No. 205 (R7, 13) LB Davis Tull, Tennessee-Chattanooga; 6’ 3”, 245 lbs. With this draft simulation, Scherff fell with Thompson taken and Perryman fell so I took full advantage... In the third, no way I was still getting a quality OLB which the Saints desperately need, so I jumped ahead of Rams who are trying to replace Dunbar and Bears who are moving to a 3-4 base package... Note: If I could somehow make a sign and trade deal to move Galette limiting further cap commitment and gain a pick, I'd do the deal for a third or fourth rounder to a team that needs a pass rusher... Again, found another great CB candidate to develop without using a high pick... As a philosophy and in the Saints offense, I'd never want to use higher than a fourth round pick on a running back... Tull in the seventh, and wouldn't discount he could move inside to one of those linebacking spots... Realistically, can't see Scherff falling to us, but he's the only guy I'd want at No. 13 other than Shaq Thompson, otherwise I'm trading back and going with Plan B... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2015 draft??
There's a guy coming up in the ranks from a very small school. His name is Ali Marpet. Idk if y'all heard or read about him,but he's worth taking a look at. Scouts are starting to take notice to him. He played OT,but projects as an interior lineman in the pros. He held up very well in the senior bowl against Danny Shelton and other big school D linemen. He also projects to fit well with ZBS. Let me know what y'all think.
