How funny is it that even the most intelligent computer on our planet - the one who consistently beats Las Vegas - has problems picking Saints games correctly.

I don't think she's cheating on ya', but in hindsight, do ya' let your 'significant other' fill out your betting slips or make your fantasy picks? Cortana might just be a little too high maintenance ... sure, Siri probably doesn't know a dang thing about football, but she doesn't raise your hopes every week only to crush them on the weekend, eh? ;)

I kinda' wondered about that too, her winning percentage across the league. It's a lot of useless data to compile, but here's the percentages of accuracy when she picks a team to win:

Well, there was a flaw in my initial compilation, so maybe I can correct it and cover 'losses' with next week's Cortana thread, :) ... sometimes, being a 'numbers guy' just ain't all it's cracked up to be, :lol:.

Depends on who is the judge.
Some will accord with 36-24-36, some will their 3 number bigger or smaller than those. Then there are those who say only the winning powerball numbers does.

:lol: ... so I fixed up my Cortana numbers and the whole time one of my favorite scenes from the Godfather is running through my head because I'm thinking for this and the Lions beating the Failclowns in Wembley, I may have to call on you one day, ;) :


Cortana most accurately picks the following teams 91% of the time (win or lose) through Wk #12: Philly, GB & Jacksonville.

Tampa Bay, Chicago & Pittsburgh are her worst at 45%

She likes the AFC West best, picking that Division correctly 77.5% of the time and she seems to have a problem with NFC South teams in general, accurately picking those games only 59.2% of the time, though as a whole, her NFC picks (67.2%) are better than her AFC picks (64.9%)
