New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
Glad it worked out for him!
When Saints safety Pierre Warren moved to New Orleans last May, he made a mistake that could have proved costly for a undrafted rookie on the bubble of making the team. He got locked into an apartment lease that he couldn't get out of for a year. So when Warren made the typical free agent bounce--in his case, from New Orleans to Minnesota, he continued paying for his vacant apartment back in Metairie. With his recent bump up to the Saints active roster, the apartment might get put to good use. It's normal for practice squad players to move around a lot. It's rare for them to end up back on the same team that cut them later that year. New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home' | NOLA.com |

Let it fly! You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. I hope this kid can make some plays.

No kidding, from being cut to being being the only real safety on the team as of now. Wish him the best.

Re: New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
Having Warren and Sunseri gives me hope for the future at safety. Two good football players.

Byrd will go down, again, bet on it...
Buffalo fans loved his talent, hated his frailty... Well, once again, it's looks like you can never have too many defensive backs... |
Re: New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
I'm not hanging our Superbowl run on his shoulders..............unless he wants it that way and can deliver.

Re: New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
Jesus Christ he aint but he is a FS that has size and some solid speed. all i want to see a play here or there and he makes a difference, i expect no worse out of him than what i have seen out of Dixon.
Two solid UDFA that need work. playing time will only help them. besides what else do have to come off the bench. not like Ball or Sanford are light years of the kid in development. definitely a media and fan friendly move |
Re: New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
I liked him and was disappointed when he didn't make the cut. Glad to have him back.

He played decent tonight compared to others ...

Re: New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
Dixon and Warren both could be solid in the future, if we decide to keep them... who knows if that happens though

He did pretty well... Better than I expected actually. At this point there's no reason to not let the young guys get some experience. I don't know why Ronald Powell doesn't get some more opportunities... I'd like to see what he can add to the pass rush. Of course there's also Stanley Jean-Bustiste but you know we're never gonna see him.

Re: New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
all in all not to bad
Warren did do what he always seems to do make a play. he does have a lot work to in tackling and filling a hole Dixon is ok but no way should he see the field as much as he is. That tD to Smith was either the worse thing I have ever seen or hands down the funniest cover job I have ever seen. I was crying and lMAO at the same time. Arms were just flaying away and he still missed the ball. were is SJB? dude must be really bad if he can not see the field now, I am starting to believe a project or not he might be a wasted pick. |

Re: New Orleans Saints safety Pierre Warren: Happy to be 'home'
Several decisions backfired on us.
1. Victor Butler was supposed to add greatly to our pass rush 2. Champ Bailey was supposed to have enough gas left to replace Greer 3. The same front 7 that played top 10 football last year is playing bottom 10 football this year 4. We thought Evans and Grubbs would play better, they got worse. 5. We thought Lelito was the answer at OC, for some reason Goody is still starting. 6. Colston lost more than just a step. 7. We thought Hicks, Jordan, Galette and JJenkins would take a step up, they got worse. 8. Injuries to Byrd, Bush, Stills, Cooks, PT, KRob, and Foster didn't help at all. |
