SP shot down the reports in the post game press conference saying;

"I think I'd have some idea of what players we were trying to sign and he's not one of them"

SP & Mickey = perfect marriage bc they each know their roles: SP selects players, Loomis figures out if we can pay them

If we were actually going to bring him in, we would do it right now.
Shelve KR and pro-rate Rice. We have the money, and he is better that KR at this point, right? The thing is, we're not going to do it.
