Saints Best Playoff Chances...
 
"If" the Saints make the playoffs I think this would be the best scenario for getting to the Superbowl. I don't want Seattle to get any home games and I'd rather not the Saints play at Lambeau in January.

1. Green Bay
2. Philly
3. Arizona
4. New Orleans :cool:
5. Detroit
6. Seattle

#5 Detroit @ #4 New Orleans :hallucinate:
#6 Seattle @ #3 Arizona

Rd 2
#4 New Orleans @ #2 Philly:argue:

We will not geaux to Philly and beat them twice on the road...

However, I don't want to see us run from a fight and...

I'd love to geaux to Seattle, exorcise some demons and exact some payback...

I don't entertain playoff scenarios much because my team so infrequently gets there, :neutral: ... but I've been thinking a #4 NO/#5 DET first round rematch in the Dome is a distinct possibility with the way GreenBay's been playing and the fact Detroit's final regular season game is always in Lambeau, in December, and they usually drop that one. Lions might finish 11-5 :shock:. Cowgurlz/Seahags may be the better teams though.

If it does happen, might be a good excuse for me to head south & do some tailgating, :).

I think Philly can be had ... again. Their secondary is questionable at best.


As for Seattle.. I want no parts of Quest Field (or whatever they call that stadium). They are starting to get their mojo back.

Unfortunately, our secondary is questionable as well as our O-line and our D-line..........oh yes, our LB'ers are also questionable. did I cover everything? I doubt it.:doh:

We can beat the Eagles.
It will all be about turnovers in that game,copying last years plan of letting Ingram, Robinson and Thomas grind them down with Colston and Graham short and Stills making sure they can't fill the box. Its on the offense not turning over and if the defense can create a but of pressure and the backs make sure they don't drop easy picks(Sanchez will offer the ball up a few times) we can win there.

I like this - just switch Detroit and Seattle.

I want Seattle kicked from the playoffs by the Saints as game 1 of the playoffs.

Save the Lions to the NFCCG.

The eagles have 2 things that concern me which is why I'd like to stay away from them.

1) They run a tempo offense which does 2 things. It tires a defense out and it makes it difficult to communicate defensive assignments. We already have enough problems communicating as it is. No need to make it worse.

2) We aren't very good at tackling quick shifty backs and have fairly slow lineman and linebackers so mccoy and sproles would be a huge problem.

I'd prefer seattle or detroit.

We have been jeckel & hyde all year. We don't know which team will show up each week.

Seattle and Philly have tough remaining schedules, and Arizona will struggle to win 2. That leaves GB or Det at the top - they play in the last week.

Very possible that Arizona goes from 9-2 to out of the playoffs and Dallas gets in at #6

Absolutely. You should hear some of the local radio sports talk shows in the DFW metroplex ... they want NO PARTS of the Black and Gold a second time.

And if we play them, it's all about tempo and hurry up offense. Philly destroyed them and we looked really good in no-huddle offense (probably our best sequence on offense in that game)

Buddy of mine at work is big Cowboys fan and is already giving up on them after that beatdown by Philly. Thinks they will get thumped in playoffs if they make it.

I'd rather see us travel to Dallas or Detroit than Philly or GB or Seattle

Nice sentiment, I know I'd be excited, :) ... but I think Dal, Ari, Phi, Sea (not so much) and especially Green Bay are gonna' have something to say about that in regards to the Lions showing up.
