Fred Smoot -- Pairing him with Mike McKenzie will give us a very solid defensive backfield. With their coverage ability it will allow the safeties to play closer to the line to support the linebackers.
And we really did not pass on Smoot in the draft. Word has it that we tried to swap second rounders to get him in the second round but the redskins wanted to much for the 2nd round swap. |
