2008 NFC West currently holds the record with 22 wins and 42 losses

Cardinals 9-7
49ers 7-9
Seahawks 4-12
Rams 2-14

The South is currently 16-34-1.

Barring more ties, the division will get 4 more wins due to intra-divisional play (CAR-TB, ATL-NO, CAR-ATL, TB-NO)

So to avoid being the poster child for playoff restructuring, the South needs to win at least two of these games: CHI-NO, ATL-GB, ATL-PIT, TB-GB, CAR-CLE

My money is on this group of misfits setting a new record for futility...

Well, then you own it, IMO, and you somehow try to turn it into a source of pride. For example: Detroit Lions, 2008 ... preseason record 4-0 (woohoo! preseason champs!) ... regular season record 0-16 (woohoo! perfect season!) :broccoli:

Yep, the glass is half empty, but at the same time it's half full, :). Now get out there & find me something positive to read before I start going off on current events, or worse, start hanging around the PoliSci forum, :lol:.

This would have been a great division for many Saints teams.

The NFC South better know as The Misfit Toys Division.

From the looks of things are looking and developing we will get some high draft picks.............but dang it! Atl, Car and Tampa will be picking ahead of us.
