Can't see the Saints beating the Falclowns. Plus, I can see them completely folding and losing to the Bucs. It's just that type of year. Also, it's possible the Bears will give Cutler a raise after how he will look Monday night. LOL. I have hit the point of where I can't do anything but laugh. Might as well. This season is one to forget.

Sneaking in at 8-8 or 7-9 would definitely be something.
Unfortunately it would also make Roger godHell happy and I think it would allow him to actually EXPAND the playoffs. We'll end up like Hockey with too many teams in the playoffs already so what does the regular season matter?

Cutler is struggling.........which means he will have a career day Monday night.

I usually frown upon this type of cynicism, but I'm afraid you are exactly right.

This team is making it extremely tough to have any shred of optimism.

My only hope is that the Cryolina game was the kick in the ass we needed to wake the **** up and start playing like we're capable of. But after 13 games of mostly bad play I'm not sure a kick anywhere is gonna wake them up.

They're beatin me down.

Me too, but the way we play Defensive disgust me. Seriously each time we play D im like well i hope we hold them to a field goal kick....they can be on the 2 yard line and they have a nice chance of scoring points. Granted the Offense has problems too, but this defense....there aren't enough bad words in the world to describe it.

Which QB wouldn't? A Division II college QB could move the ball on this defense...

Both Billy Joe's and Ryan Leaf could shred this D.

Oh I left out a bunch more than that.;)

Aaron Brooks would look like John Elway against this group.

Yes we have a way of making rookies, career backups and third stringers look like Aaron Rogers.

Ever felt like not wanting to see your team in the playoffs?
Didn't think I would EVER say it...so I won't...but I'm sho thinkin' it.
I remember how crazy the Seahawks "sneaking in the back door" talk was.
Then we lost, and the way we lost. ESPN still plays those clips.
This time I'm thinking we put our stamp of approval on the rational for not letting scrubs into the party.
We would host a team in the Dome. Imagine a playoff loss in the Dome.
10 years from now I still see the skeletons propped up in the seats of the loyals who were holding out hope against hope
that these guys would suddenly become who they never were.
I love these guys but...

It's too complicated. How about we win the next 3 and see what happens.

Sorry but I just can't look that far ahead. This team isn't good enough.
Win at Soldier field and we can go from there.

Wow...we've come a long way, baby. Folks hoping we don't make the playoffs for fear we'd embarrass ourselves. That we'd lose a playoff game in the Dome. The shame of losing a playoff game at home.

Even if it seems there is little hope for greatness at this point of the season, why in the world would we be afraid of at least the opportunity to try to achieve greatness by the end of it?

We've lost playoff games in the Dome before. I'll take the chance because I want us to make it in.

Can we embarrass ourselves any worse than last week???

I'm embarrassed the we have fans that would rather have a higher draft pick than have a shot at greatness.

Unfortunately, that shot at greatness will look very much like a highlight reel for the opposing QB's and RB's.

When the idea of picking top ten came out I was sick about the idea.....I warmed up quickly though as I watched the product the Saints put on the field. We don't draft well in the middle or later rounds. Sad but true.:dunce:

Although now that I think about it we don't draft well period, so where we pick probable doesn't matter. Win out and we're still in the fight. Who Dat!:bng:

Payton drafts picking in the top half of round 1...
Kenny Vaccaro
Malcolm Jenkins
Sedrick Ellis
Reggie Bush

Payton drafts picking in the bottom half of round 1...
Brandin Cooks
Cam Jordan
Mark Ingram
Patrick Robinson
Robert Meachem

Screw that higher draft pick, I'll take my chances in the playoffs.
