Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

In a little more than 24 hours, we can take the lead in this NFC South. I do believe I've typed this 17 times this year.

Is this team ready? Are you ready?

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

yay... i guess... I do feel bad not really caring.

I would rather have a top 10 pick and am more interested in seeing our young guys play. Win or lose, I don't really care.

This sounds Amazing! How do I sign up?

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

I've given this team soooooo much crap on both sides of the ball. All phases of the game. The coaching staff. Individual players. Even some fans (remember "Ball Stealer" from the Bengals Game?).

3 games left. Conjuring up that old manager from "Major League"...let's hang around a whole lot longer and draft a whole lot later, shall we?

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

No time left to discuss changes or playing better. Talking about that anymore is talking about next season. Hoping to see a very strong level of effort.

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

If you're not ready, you should take a few weeks off from B&G.com because I don't want to see you here after we win a home playoff game.

Know what else would be sweet? Carolina having the division lead for less than 48hrs...

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

I think I've seen enough to know they wont do anything in the playoffs this year granted they even win the division. Do I want them to? Hell yeah I do, but i just dont think its even feasible at this point. Why in 2011 and 2013 with promising teams going into the playoffs should the Saints lose, but somehow win this year when they are constantly outplayed, outcoached, and outmatched.

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

We could beat GB, Arizona, or Dallas but now Seattle is about to take care of that.

Was at the GA dome today to make sure step one of the plan, a Falcon loss, came off without a hitch...movin' on to phase 2:

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

Well at least it will show the strongest team in the NFC South. Not so sure about what it shows the rest of the NFL.

You know who I miss?

Jabari Greer.

The difference in the expectations surrounding those 2 very good teams and the expectations of this 2014 is hilarious no doubt. I'm a realist. I've watched every down this year.

But what would be truly special & what would be another level of greatness is if this 2014 Saints team made it even further than those 2 teams did. Can it happen? Absolutely it can. Teams in every sport get hot at the right time & shock the world.

I know, this season has just sucked the life out of me. I think they might go further just for sheer irony at this point.

I believe! I want this team to make the playoffs with every fiber of my being. I don't care if the draft pick is lower or whatever. Just get in! Give us something to get excited about. Would be the best Christmas present ever.

I am so ready and want my, no our, Saints to win this and then pass off the NFL talking heads. Let's show them that our crappy team is just the type of sh*t that sticks around to annoy them. My 41st birthday is Saturday and I want my Saints in first place regardless of there record. 1 step at a time, win division, then? WhoDat!!!

I'd just be thrilled with the 2013 version of Corey White.

I'd just like to see the defense play like they give a d*mn.

The only position that's going to be somewhat expensive to fix is that Veteran #2 CB.
Add some run stuffing beef along the line, a speedy veteran OLB, and some interior O-line help and we're right back to one of the most talented rosters in the league.

In other words, another typical Loomis off-season.

Now, if we can just solve our drafting issues...

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

Hell yes!! Let's start the roll, get the division, and reset for the playoffs!! Bring in those damn west coast Falcons for some payback.

Danno 12-15-2014 08:31 AM

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

If we win it, we host a playoff game. Thats fantastic for the City and Saints fans.

If we win our playoff game, I'd love to go to Arizona or Detroit or Dallas. All very winnable.

The Dome Patrol is gone forever. Greer is one call away from coming out of retirement.

Greer's career is gone forever as well; he would be on a team if he could still play...

Danno 12-15-2014 08:36 AM

Re: Are You Ready To Take The Lead?

There are other Greers and Lewis' out there.

Yes, we struck out on Champ Bailey this year, but I think we'll sign someone more than competent this off-season.
