Yes Drew for two (wins in a row) + one for Johnny Football = division crown and a "bye week" in week 17

Currently the panthers are in control with the browns & falcons in the last 2 games.

We need to win the last 3 & we are in.

Assuming the Panthers don't win out.

They're going to lose at the Browns, mark my words

I think ATL and CLE beat CAR.

The real question will be if the Saints can satisfy their side of the playoff equation...

Cleveland is a mess with the QB switch not so sure on that game. Plus Derek Anderson filling in for Cam may actually be a plus for the Panthers. The way the falcons are playing they should beat Carolina but the Jones injury could be a factor in that game.

Atlanta need one Saints loss if they win out from here.

Edit - just realised they will get that as they will have to beat the Saints to win out.

i am all set for a three way tie going into the final week. that is how this season has been so it would be only fitting

3-4 weeks ago Drew was saying we werent in a must-win situation. That compacent attitude has bitten us in the ass all year long. EVERY game should be a must-win starting with Week 1.

When you start thinking must-win every week, you put undue pressure on yourself...

I respectfully disagree. 16 games is a short season. Many times, making the playoffs and/or getting HFA boils down to one or two games. The GREAT athletes put the pressure on themselves to must-win every week. Imagine a legend saying "this isn't really a must-win game". I doubt you'd ever hear that coming from brady or manning or montana. Hearing it from Brees was embarrassing. No urgency.

Re: Updated NFC South scenarios

Well hopefully the trend continues with Carolina, as they would be a repeat division winner, and that just doesn't happen in our division.
This division is still totally up the air and will continue be until the final game most likely.

Nope you hear them say something along the lines of: " We're taking this one game at a time and we had a good week of practice and we're just trying to get better."

When have you ever heard Brady or Brees say this is a must-win game in a presser?

Mitch youre gonna tell me that a QB has never said "this is a must-win game"? How do u think Brees would answer if some repirter asked him that question today? Of course he'd say every game from here on out is a must-win. My point is that you shouldnt wait until the end of the season after you've lost 8 games to have that attitude. Maybe they wont say its a must win in week 3 or early on in the season, but they also shouldnt say "no this isnt a must win" like Brees did a few weeks ago.

This is great and all. But have you watched the Browns lately? No way they beat CAR. If Saints wanna make the playoffs, they're gonna have to earn it themselves.

I am not excited about getting to 8-8 and losing miserably in our first playoff game. Fortunately, the Saints can win these next three in a row and the future is wide open. Can it be done? We'll just have to tune in tonight to find out.

Have you seen Carolina play? Their only good game in the last 8 weeks was against us.

They are quite beatable, even by the Browns.

better do it ourselves... Once we beat Atlanta they are completely done and will mail in the Carolina game
