Nah the highest draft pick we could get with a 7-9 record is anything up to number 15 in the first round

Because the falcons or panthers will get to the playoffs they will get something around number 25

Plus I hope we just play the young guys next week anyway, literally nothing to fight for and a higher draft pick is what we need.

Division. If we win next week we go 7-9. If panthers lose they go 6-9-1 and if falcons lose they go 6-10.

And ... when the big postseason "realignment" debate begins over an NFC South champion in the playoffs with a losing record, it won't be centering around New Orleans. Hopefully it'll be Can'tlanta receiving all that negative press, but it wouldn't bother me to see Carowhina' in that position either, :).

Honestly I want Carolina to win the south. Never want Atlanta to win. They also could very well get to NFCCG if they avoid Seattle in divisional because of the O. Lions could win in Dallas. Carolina has no shot whatsoever.

And so it has come to pass, :) ... the negative media and not a mention of New Orleans, :). Fly under the radar, weather the storm, live to fight another day, ;)

On a side note, there's been a lot of NFL stories popping up in the Finance/Business sections of Yahoo and other publications this season , go figure :scratchhead:.

On top of that, the Cardinals will either be starting a quarterback with just 12 career starts (Drew Stanton) or one with just five career starts (Ryan Lindley), for an offense that hasn't scored more than 18 points in their last six games.

That means, not only will the NFL have their second 7-win playoff team in five seasons, but there is a very good chance the NFL is going to have a 7-win team reach the second round of the playoffs for the second time in five years as the Seahawks won their first game in 2010.

Outside of the fans of Falcons and Panthers, nobody wants to see that.
