Can someone explain this to me?
 

In Benson's proposal to the state, he outlined what needs to be done and built and remodeled for the Saints to be competitive financially in the NFL and increase revenue. So if his proposal outlined measures to increase revenue for the team, and the state has to pay for all of it per his proposal, why the hell does he wanna continue cash payments until 2020? Wasn't the point of the cash inducements that the Saints weren't financially viable because of the Superdome? So if it is remodeled, and all these extra facilites built, and that ould increase revenue for the team per his proposal, why would the state still have to pay the 23 mil yearly after 2010 until 2020? Does that seem fishy to anyone else?

When you look at the situation you shouldn\'t but yourself as a fan or a resident of the state but look at it from a buisness side. Here look at it as if you are buying a car on a car lot... you want the car its 24,000 and you want them to add a sun-roof. Do you say, \"I\'ll take it if you add me a Sun-roof\" or do you say \"hey I\'ll buy it for 24,900 if you add a sun-roof\"?

Benson is a buisnessman and he is playing it as a buisness transaction. Get what you can, make a buck... why would you give money back when they already promised it to you?

They promised him through 2011, not through 2020 which his new proposal is asking for. If the renovations and other additions will generate additional revenue. like his own proposal said, why does he want payment through 2020?

Let me tell you something, Tom Benson is a money man. He doesn\'t care about the state, the city, or anything just if he makes a buck! Now I know that sounds harsh but if you know the man, you know I\'m speaking the truth. Benson is only intrested in money. If it means LA, San Antonio he\'ll go there. Here\'s the problem with moving the team. Louisiana
is a great state to be in. None better than backdoor deals here. But Blanco won\'t deal. She could care less if he leaves. But would LA put up with him? HELL NO. San Antonio? Mabey but Texas has 2 other teams no money from the state ever! Will he get parking? Concesions? NO! If he really is straped for cash he won\'t get better than free rent, conessions, and parking plus money each year. Damm pay me or I\'ll move to Fld. (HEHEHEHEHEHE) As he says pay me now.
