No way does that happen, that game determine the south,,,but if so would that be funny to the panthers make it to playoffs in that kind of situation

The panthers would still win the south?

Painful if you go to NFL.com or ESPN.com we are 1st in the division for the moment.

Wait if panthers go 5-8-2 and falcons go 6-9-1 do we get in over Carolina? That might be considered a tie though and division record is tiebreaker which Carolina wins because they would not have lost both times to Atlanta.

What about other teams. What are the rules for tiebrakers. H2H, Division record?

Actually Carolina goes 6-8-2, so basically one win worse, one loss better so I think Carolina still wins.

This win drops us at worst to 12th. That's if everything goes against us.

More likely this win dropped us about 2 or 3 spots.

I read a loss could mean as high as 8, and a win as low as 12th.

Not much difference.

The way team plot to step up ahead of every slot is just that important when considering top ten over twelfth pick. To trade in top ten you're looking at at the least getting a 1st and second rd pick but twelfth you might be looking at 1st and 3rd,,,, then you looking at value of the player at his position, the drop at corners linebacker or OL might drop significantly after the tenth pick
