Especially Grady. He set the tone early...brought some good pressure up the middle. That whole front 7 was dominant tonite, which you clearly saw what i did.

LB Martrell Spaight, Arkansas

Looks to be a great late round pick up in the draft. If anyones interested, check him out. He's playin rite now on espn. Idk how he has a late round grade(6) on him. Been a huge part of Arkansas D & leads the team & conference in tackles if im not mistaken.

Those A&M Olinemen are from the same school Jake Matthews was from just last year. No. I would not get White. Remember Geno played for that school. Out of all of those I only like Beasley.

Lol im familiar with many prospects & their former schools. what does Geno or matthews have to do with these prospects? & what does a school have to do with the talent of certain players?? Sure some schools develop talent better than other, but i fail to see your point.

Tajh Boyd came from Clemson last year, but i fail to see how that has anything to do with the talent of Vic Beasley like youre saying about Kevin White & Geno.

I disagree, Kevin White is a solid prospect especially with the production he's put up catching passes from the likes of Skyler Howard, etc lol!

With that said, I wouldnt waste a 1st round pick on Kevin White. This thread is only a place where we can post "potential" prospects to take a look at for the upcoming draft. If we were to make a bonehead pick on a WR in the 1st id rather it be DeVante Parker or Amari Cooper, but thats the least of our concerns. Hopefully we go Defense or Oline

After watching the Michigan State vs Baylor game. I really like Trea Waynes! I've always liked him, but now I really like him. He would be the only corner I'd be ok with drafting in the first.

I'll be very interested to see Vic in the Senior bowl against against elite tackles. I recall Mike Mayock stated that his only concern is his point of attack against bigger, strong guys. Didn't think he has the length or strength to get off them.

Watching the Citrus Bowl, that Mizzou QB (Maty Mauk) would make a good NFL backup ... kid's got talent & heart ... played most the game cramping up, took some good hits, gave a DB a concussion rushing one into the endzone ... it was a bit like watching Johnny Football without all the drama,.

Re: Bowl Games To Keep An Eye On

this bowl season has been great. some stood out others i removed from my list all together. but some late rounders really popped.

SEC is not all it was over valued to be. Bama and FSU all went down so i am happy. go ducks

90% of Fla. St. i would not draft. poor sportsmanship i can not stand. leaving the field and not shaking hands. head cases we have enough of.

couple of round 3 guys that impressed where

OC Hroniss Grasu Oregon really impressed me against FSU. lets see how he does against the buckeyes Michael Bennett and that front 7. But he really jumped out at me.

OT Jake Fisher Oregon looked really good as usual. that was a pleasant surprise. i thought this was a good test for him. like Hroniss i can not wait to see the buckeye match up

to bad Jimmie Hunts, WR, Missouri did not play i was looking forward to seeing him against the gopher secondary with held up better than i expected. shame the gophers have no depth, Mizzo just ran them into the ground by the fourth. but the secondary has some talent

Ok i am a Gopher alum so here is my guy

Rodney Dangerfield Award for 2015 Draft

Demien Wilson/ILB/Minn #5 6’2/240

talk about no respect at ILB. this guy has been all over the field all year.Top 5 tackler in the Big Ten that can drop into coverage also. i hope we do not let him slip by us on day 3. blue collar football player with speed to spare. how this kid is not getting late round grade with huge upside is beyond me. he can play on all the special teams units from day one while getting coached up. i bet he turns into a beast of a special teams player in the NFL till he gets his shot

Hate to say this, but if he is professional, Jameis is going to be a good NFL QB.

Maybe even great. Talent is there. Throws he makes under pressure... He makes them look easy.

Yes, I was thinking the same.

Easy throws, all the time in the world to throw the football, wide open WRs...
Nfl is different story. And of course you have Lovie Smith.

I'll be interesting in seeing him under center at the next level. I think he has played in the spread formation his entire collegiate career.

This guy is the type of nut we need however I heard the announcers mentioning that he intends to stay at Baylor for one more season

Edit: I gotcha Mitch....I'm in speed reading mode. My fault.

He can bring it coming off the edge.

That's what I'm saying, not this years draft but the next one...

Im glad he went back to school. He's still a project, but can get alot better. He's all top heavy though, His legs are tyson chandler scrawny. Can see him getting knocked out of plays in the league, but thats why the decision to head back to Baylor is so good.

Now if you want a monster that has all the size a team wants & thick all around, look no further than Oregon's Arik Armstead! True Beast(6'8, 300)

IF he can put it all together he'll be another Calais Campbell. Watched him bull rush FSU a couple of times. His size & ceiling alone have him as a potential 1st rounder this year, but still needs to develop & show consistency. Im intrigued by his potential.

So its back to unpredictability in terms of busts vs.immediate results.

The bowl games said Meyer is a difference maker and was likely the reason more than Tebow why UF won those two titles.

Re: Bowl Games To Keep An Eye On

they way things are looking OT is going to be good this year and at 13 OT should be one of the least riskiest picks the saints could make. dare i say the year of the OT. we need a RT that can flip if needed to LT or one that can slide inside to OG. keep Stinch as the main back up at OT

Or better yet get both with two picks. :) A RT to slide inside to OG get some cap space and a start on at RT. first two picks OL baby. heck go for broke and grab a OC/OG in the draft and let Lelito and him slug it out for OC and loser battles for the next OG slot. there you go. first 3 picks OL and we are set for cap moves this year and next. if the football gods play along with the idea

boy would that drive saints nation crazy. we always think we are just one glamor pick away from getting another super bowl ring. lmao those days are done. age and poor player management have seen to that.

Depends who is the board though, who would you take at 13 because surely it will be a reach for some and most others wont get back to us in the second.

Re: Bowl Games To Keep An Eye On

I'd rather the Saints address the OL in the 2nd and 3rd preferably a guard and center and use the 13th pick on a playmaking defender like Shaq Thompson. It's all going to depend on what happens leading up to the draft.

Yesir. Agreed. Already wrote in another thread several days back that OT was deep this year along with RB & pass rushers. I can possibly see about 6 or 7 OT's with a 1st round grade on em. Off the top: Scherff, Peat, Stanley, Ogbuehi, Collins, Clemmings, Sambrailo.
A certain team in the playoffs isnt looking to bad drafting Oline 3 years in a row. Hate to even refer to them lol.
