See, I like this. Drew is just a regular dude making his sandwiches out of scraps like the rest of us. Lucky he has any food in the house with all those kids.

As much as i like alot of things from the US your bacon is not up to stratch.
Canadians have good bacon but then for some strange reason drown it in maple syrup, i do wonder if Canadians would set up a IV drip with syrup if given the chance.

IDK. I wasn't really bothered by the fact that he is so bored he's posting pics of his breakfast. Not nearly as much as how excited he seems about that tiny little appetizer.

Make a huge flap jack, butter it and put 3 or 4 full slices of bacon in it, half a banana and roll it up and dip it into syrup. Now I would be excited about that.

Of course this is coming from someone who once fried bacon up then used the grease to fry hot dogs and hamburgers in.....

That's some good looking bacon in that picture, :) ... Canadian bacon is just ham, IDK why they call it "bacon" ... it's one of the things I argue about with my friends & relatives from the Great White North during the holidays, :lol:.

I like that Drew Brees pancake sammich though, you can call it a 'hanni', a 'mufallata' or whatever, but they make sammiches like that with only one piece of bread all over the world, :D.

Facepalm. As a New Orleanian, that is one sad, sad attempt at cooking. jnormand has a much better approach. Make a crepe at least. I can't throw a football for s*$t, but I can tell from that picture that I can out cook Drew any day of the week :)

Mr. Brees has not represented the Who Dat nation well with this flapjack and needs to take cooking lessons, break down the tape of other chefs, and make adjustments.

"Breakfast of Champions" ... peanut butter/bologna on the cheap loaf from the day-old-bakery ... jelly, pickles and/or cheese optional ... can also be enjoyed as a mid-morning snack, lunch, lunch side-dish, afternoon snack, dinner, dinner side-dish, evening snack, 4th meal or whatever. Make a stack of 'em and invite the boys over for the big game. :)

Thinly layer pancake batter on a griddle, place a strip of cooked bacon(crisp or floppy, your choice) in the thin layer of batter, tack on another layer of batter and griddle until pancake is golden. Serve. Eat. Repeat.
