You want to see leadership issues with this team then get rid of Strief. He's the biggest leader we have... Literally and figuratively.

I wish we'd take a page from the Cowboys and build upfront first. 2015 draft-RD1-LSU tackle-La'el Collins-a serious road grader(run blocker)-best O-lineman in the country according to many.

I agree. Strief might be the most underrated player on the team. Anybody that wants to get rid of him just doesn't know their football, period.

Streif cannot play poorly then. Brees needs that protection. If the FO lets him go we could be in trouble but if he stays around we could still be in trouble. Its not easy being a leader on the sidelines. It did not work with Vilma in 12.

Someone said before oline take time to gel. If thats the case we probably have to deal with more growing pains and I guess we might as well get better on receiving.

It isn't looking good to go to the sbs next season.

Well the good news is that Evans is having surgery for an injury that bothered him all of 2014.

That's gotta be his back, right?

That would make sense, O-linemen usually play into their late 30's before they start to show any decline. Hopefully he just had an injury hampered down year in 2014.

He just had back surgery last off-season. If it is his back again, there are problems and it points to a chronic issue. Same kind of stuff that killed Stinchcomb's career right when he should've been in his prime.

Well yeah, I guess there's that side of it too.:(

The problem is he now has to recover from that and that affects his ability to get a rhythym in training camp ala Byrd.
